Which genius thought it would be a good idea to have this game at 7.10pm on a Sunday night?  :o

Form is irrelevant when these two teams meet. Hope the Bombers smash the Blues because Carlton need to finally wake up and realise that their list is not finals material, and full of C graders :P

Maybe with school holidays starting the AFL thought they would try 2 big clubs in a new time slot. It won't work its a terrible timeslot. Great for me as an Essendon supporter living interstate. Nothing else on TV on a Sunday night worth watching.

Carlton won't get smashed, but watching Essendon play Hawthorn, I can't see how we are good enough to beat them right now with the style of football we are playing and the outs we have. Warnock will dominate the hit outs, but he is going to get smashed around the ground by the Carlisle/Daniher combo

struggle for 40-50K    late night sunday just not family or fan friendly.    AFL learned their business from Bernie Ecclestone.  "Show me the money"  dont worry about the fans we got tv rights
