Very important match for both sides as loser will be the early favourite for the spoon.

Toga

Really hoping the Dees can get up here, for the sake of Melbourne supporters... They are in for a tough season, and a loss here would just make it worse :(

Nige

The Giants will be too good for the Dees I think.

Melbourne haven't looked fantastic, while the Giants have started the season in very promising fashion despite going down to the Saints last week.

The new recruits for the Giants (especially Mummy) have been great.

Ricochet

Melbourne really need Clark, Dawes or Hogan out on the park to compete strongly. They are getting plenty of the pill just break down across half fwd and can't score
GWS's weakness atm is their backline with Davis and Mohr out. And imo would have won against the Saints if Davis had played.

GWS easy in this one

kilbluff1985

refuse to tip anyone here both teams have annoyed me last 2 weeks

Master Q

Accidentally voted for Melbourne, but think GWS will win  :P 2 goals.

AaronKirk

Would like to see the Dees get a win but with no Key Forward they will struggle for goals. GWS should win here.

Bill Manspeaker

yeah would really like to see the Dees win. don't think they will though :(

Mailman the 2nd

Melbourne usually win these sort of games somehow. Very little in the way of a forward 50 lineup though so the mids are going to need to kick most of the goals

If we'd had davis or mohr I think we would have won... riewoldt just smashed us (which is, ftr, what I said pre-game could happen). I still wish we'd thrown cameron down back against him, who at least could have kept up athetically.

our backline is our deficiency atm, but with the dees forwards, that shouldn't be an issue. I'd back it in as a safe win imo.
