PARISIAN NICE LYON REINDEERS

Backs: K. Simpson, C. Enright, J. Harbrow, M. Jaensch
Mids: M. Priddis (CC), N. Jones (CC), M. Thomas, D. Rich
Fwds: C. Wingard, J. Westhoff, C. Rioli, J. Patton
Ruc: M. Lobbe
Int: D. Myers, F. Ray

Emg: Luke Ball, J. Trengove, L. Casboult.

IN: Matt Thomas
OUT: Luke Ball

It is really hard to drop Ball, he's such a trooper but with the emergence of Ray/Myers/Thomas all starting the year so strongly, couldn't fit them all in! Forward depth is being tested early but hoping the strength of our midfield and backs can carry us.

Going Co-Captains more than likely but will set that in stone tomorrow before lockout! We will also nominate to use the sub rule! (I finally remembered :P)

TBH unless you have 1 player significantly better than your other 14 I reckon all coaches should go co-captains.

It helps prevent things like 1 terrible game costing you a win. For example if I had captained Dane Swan last week with his 65 or whatever it would have killed me and against a good team could cost me the match. But co-captaining Stevie J + Swan = I get a decent captain score between the two.

It's unlikely both your co-captains will fail in the same week. I realise most of you are smart enough to obviously realise this I'm just unsure as to why some coaches aren't cc every week.

or if you have no clear captain, take a punt on one and hope he scores well, otherwise half his points and get another half of an average score.

Yes, but if you are the weaker team it would probably be your best chance to win to pick the right sole captain.

Time for some OOP defenders?
Don't think so. I reckon they are both good for 40-50 points at a minimum (now watch them score 20), which would mean an OOP would need to score around the 100 mark to make it worth it. I'm struggling to find players to do that in their actual positions at the moment, so don't think it's a good choice for me.

Although in saying that White may be dropped since he is on the extended bench, so would only have 3 playing so would have to make a choice whether to use up my second attack formation or play an OOP
