Will he get a game for freo soon? can he average 80+ when/if he does? Considering trading him out in draft best options left are Yarran, betts, murdoc, Varcoe, Mcglynn, Jackson Merret.

hold? if not best option?

cheers

Varcoe actually looks in good touch this season, there seems a little extra effort in his game that hasnt really been there before... could do worse, and I think Sylvia is some while away tbh

makita

id be dropping him for varcoe. looked good on the weekend, don't see anyone picking up sylvia till he has played at least one game

so u can always go back later if varoce doesn't work out.

BUMP - old but relevant. The answer is:

QuoteAFL legend Wayne Carey has blasted Colin Sylvia for returning to Fremantle's pre-season out of shape after the Christmas break.

The former North Melbourne and Adelaide champion told Triple M on Saturday that Sylvia looked like "he fell asleep and swallowed his pillow".

No.

Good to know there's less traffic for the rooks.

Ross Lyon's description, for the laughs:

http://www.afl.com.au/news/2015-02-06/sylvia-causes-review

Quote"From the time Col came through the door off his break he's the first to admit he rolled up in poor condition and hadn't done the work," Lyon said.

"From that period we supported Colin, mapped out programs, gave him every resource and again, to cut a long story short, he came back in really poor condition again.

"He wasn't able to complete the first time-trial when he arrived and 12 months later off the eight-week break (this pre-season) he still couldn't … well, he completed it but at the bottom end of the list.

"Then post-Christmas he was unable to complete it. So we wrapped some parameters around for Col and gave him some skin-folds and times that he needed to meet and there was plenty of time to do that.

"We had the 3km time-trial yesterday (Thursday) and it was really â€" for where he's at â€" it wasn't at a level."

Will give me a good chuckle seeing the number of fantasy coaches listed next to his name.
