Progressive total threads

Hey guys

I notice a few dupe threads get made on this topic

To stop this I suggest mids make the thread in each fantasy comps board in the players and trades board and sticky it will be much easier to find because the random posters don't really check the other child boards

So a new one each round once the new one is made unstick the old one

Or if mods want anyone can make the threads then just report them and ask for them to be stickys

I like this idea, people are always making countless threads in the P&T board for progressive scores, a sticky up the top would be a good idea

The sticky about matchday discussions doesn't stop people.  ::)

At least he left it overnight :P. I was tired yesterday so didn't come onto the forum much at all.

Think the plan is to sticky a progressive thread, whether Mods make it or somebody else does and they ask us (or somebody reports the thread and asks to be stickied), then we can do that.

Agree the duplicates get annoying and clog the boards. I say Progressive totals should go into the main Fantasy sections but agreed with other Mods that putting it into P&T sections will get the most traffic for the threads and will lower duplicates if people see the thread started there. And seeing as it's weekend, people won't have a whole lot to talk about, so usually don't need it stickied but Mods wouldn't mind stickying it if needed! (Thought that was the plan, but people get busy so can easily be forgotten).

I take it this is an SC issue because we haven't had a dupe in AF/DT since the middle of last year.

Whatever happens I'd prefer them to stay on the P&T boards, if they go in the main boards they get lost and forgotten.

Yeah, SC has it in the main board, not the P&T board, so no-one really sees it and there are always new ones being created

It doesn't matter where anything is posted as people still make new threads about it again anyway because they don't look properly or know how to use the search function
