I traded him out last year early. He then picked up big time and was my most regretful trade all year.

Last year isn't this year though mate.

scumbag

But the lesson stays the same no matter what year mate.

Its only one bad score. If he fails next week then maybe we should talk more. Can't see him not being a top 6 forward by years end.

But how is he going to have a big one next week against Freo of all teams and Mitchell and Hodge will most likely be out which means not as good delivery to Roughead.

I reckon its better to cut him now to someone who looks more consistent and also not lose money from Roughead at the same time as he will bleed cash after next round.

In a few weeks time you wont be able to trade him to anyone decent if he spuds it up again.  :-\

Just scared that Roughead is going to spud it up against Freo and be worthless price wise after that.

Better to offload him now I reckon.

Roughhead is a junk time specialist, with an actual close game going he struggled. That is what vultures do.

Wow! I honestly cant believe what i just read...!

Clearly one of the best forwards and i'd easily argue that he is the most valuable player in the comp too!

Hawks were terrible tonight and delivery to him was more than poor.

Seriously, delete this comment! Sound like someone who just started to watch the sport last night...

Roughhead is awful, worst player in comp by a margin. A pure vulture.

You mean Jordan, don't you?

haha loved how angry some people got at this comment. you are right to a degree though. Look at his efforts in the his recent finals efforts. Pathetic, especially 2012 GF.

This thread is ridiculous. Agree with hawkers
This is what u get when u pick KP players.
When the service is down u are going to have poor days.

U should know this when picking him.
Don't worry about his price plummeting. His price is irrelevant u picked him as a keeper.
Roughie will b a top 6 forward by seasons end. Anyone that trades him out after tonite is amateur hour. Good luck to u

Whats the use in keeping him if he is just gonna keep scoring like crap though?

I can't see Roughead scoring any better against Freo than what he did against Essendon to tell you the truth.

Sideways trading won't get you anywhere, you'd be better off sticking with your original plan and downgrading your ruck and strengthening your back line.

He had 1 bad game. Why do you think he is 'just gonna keep scoring like crap'? If you have no confidence in him, the question should be why did you pick him in the first place?

I picked him because he has the ability to score big and be a match winner, but he us a KPP so I know the risks of low scores like tonight when delivery is rubbish. I'll be keeping him, but that's me.

Roughy will do this once or twice a year - the rest will be consistent. Hang in there :)
