I did the same as hogan and traded him out after about rd 4-5, stupidest thing I did all year! Maybe he is a slow starter?
The other problem is who are you going to trade too? Fwd premiums are pretty scarce atm

Keeper27

BE of 152 and looks to lose $30k

This thread is ridiculous. Agree with hawkers
This is what u get when u pick KP players.
When the service is down u are going to have poor days.

U should know this when picking him.
Don't worry about his price plummeting. His price is irrelevant u picked him as a keeper.
Roughie will b a top 6 forward by seasons end. Anyone that trades him out after tonite is amateur hour. Good luck to u

Whats the use in keeping him if he is just gonna keep scoring like crap though?

I can't see Roughead scoring any better against Freo than what he did against Essendon to tell you the truth.

His last 3 scores against Freo : 133, 90 & 110  ;)

Except this time instead of McPharlin going to Buddy, he goes to Roughead.

Actually the 133 he scored, McPharlin was on him cause Buddy didn't play. In the last 3 seasons when Buddy hasn't played (9 games from memory) Roughies average in those games is 120 points!! Not including this year though  :)

Judd Magic

Definitely trading him out for NRoo after his 158 today.

Just thinlk Roughead is going to struggle again against Freo.

juzztheball

Trading Roughy out is crazy talk. Surely you all have more pressing rookie issues !! I dont have him but hes a power forward, theres going to be games he doesnt kick 5 and youll have to cop those scores, im definitely using him as an upgrade target but expect him to bounce back well next week, leaving everyone who traded him out feeling stupid.

And anyone talking about trading NRoo in. He's played GWS and Melbourne. Try looking a bit longer term past next round fellas.

Typhnn

Nroo played Melb, on McDonald who had a corked thigh... so he could outrun him..

Nroo played GWS without Phil Davis...

Easily will be his best two games for the year...!!

It took 3 pages before someone finally said something clever

I actually expect Roughnuts to play a lot of mid next week to combat Freos large midfielders.

Roughy before half time was actually pretty good I thought last night.

The bloke is an absolute gun IMO and watching him live impresses even more - he is tough and hard at it

Will definately be in the top 6 scoring forwards for SC

But by all means - do a sideways trade to a bloke that is not going to win many more games for the rest of the year, has knee issues and is one of the oldest players getting around - its round 2, he has just played the 2 whipping teams of the comp and he is still feeling pretty fresh - of course his scores are going to be inflated

At least if you do the sideways trade - it means there will be less competition on my way to winning 50K!

DO IT

HotTiges

NRoo plays WC at Subi next.. Hmm

now there is some common sense.  i got much bigger issues than roughie.   yes it hurts when he spuds up.  not trading him.
got ryder to deal with/
dixon?  WHY OH WHY did he shave that bloody beard off,  cost us heaps of points.  His real name must be bloody SAMPSON.
webster and mitch in def and no swallow!!!

roughie  not even on the radar mate.
