I'm considering the unthinkable...

Dropping Gaz and Cotchin for the Crowley and Curnow tag bringing in both Selwoods to face the Dees and the lowely Lions.

Swap them both back around prior to round 3 if needed as I'm of the opinion that switching premos each week will be needed to get that edge (just have to make the right switches).

Crazy or genius?

I have learnt over the years never plan your trades a week in advance its a sure way to jinx your team into an injury and be stuck with a team you don't want.

Silly to me is not going with the gut instinct calls I've gone with over the years and regretting them, especially two rounds last year when I would've ranked #1 for the week but didn't go ahead with it.  At this stage will follow this plan and see how it pans out, could go back to normal if I chicken out!

Perhaps go halfway and drop Cotchin.

I'd always back in Gaz...  :-\

Thats a possibility too...think it will depend on what rooks are named...if KK is named I'm pretty keen on getting him in so money will become a factor.  God damn Crowley tag and his creepy grin...

I think its probably too early to do something like this. It`s a marathon not a sprint.
What happens if you happened to cop a couple of injuries or suspension this week that require you to use your trades next week especially in the ruck area where we have limited to no coverage then you doing this move for a week could cause you to lose out next round because you are unable to trade Ablett back in and the rest of the 1000`s of coaches end up better off than you in the end anyway.

Of course thats true, but who's to say both Selwoods score won't beat Ablett & Cotchin together for the next few weeks if I do have to burn trades on LTI's etc.  I think the deciding factor for me is that I'm going for league win before overall rank due to money tied up in my main league so if I make a mistake using this strategy I can still strengthen my team to win a league.  If I was going overall and this idea didn't pan out then I'd be behind the 8ball and may as well give up my season now.

McDonough being dropped was a blessing in disguise...traded him out for Rohan, brought Ablett back in for Jelwood and kept Scooter over Cotchin.  Team will stay like this so not just a 1 week punt on premo's.

Cotchin will destroy Curnow. Back Gaz in to be solid too.

Gaz is the greatest footballer the games possibly ever seen

Gaz has scored 100+ in every game he has played for GCS against Fremantle. One being a 175...

Crowley did not tag him this game, and Crowley has only tagged him once for 101 which i not a usual Gaz score...however everyone turn off the duress call, I have found a way to fir Gaz back into my side without altering my structure and requirng me to flip guys back in burning trades next round! I am sweet.  :D

Yeh I like that better mate. Was a bit too risky initially

Only player I lose is Cotchin, but thats no biggie, don't think he'll be in the top 10 mids and replaced him with Scooter who I do think will be in the top 10.
