N Roo & Jacobs or Cox & Wingard?

i) Think Cox should have a big game against the Dees and the Saints. But if the eagles continue to persist with their 3 ruckman strategy I am concerned because I think this limits his potential to haul in massive scores...

ii) NRoo comes up against GWS this week - who I do not think can back up their performance from Rd 1-, and will also have Hayes and Montagna back in the side. He demolished with rookies serving it up to him.

iii) Jacobs is looking solid but I don't think I can expect more than a 80-105 from him each week. Whereas with Cox there is the potential to go huge (unless those two other ruckman in the team steal all his points!)

iv) Wingard. I am really tossing up between Wingard and Westhoff. I know. Every fibre in body is saying no no no! to Westhoff But he really could go big against Adelaide...but then again so could Wingard.

Hmmm...

Very tough combos to separate, but I'm going with Jacobs and NRoo.  Jacobs is underpriced and should make money plus get close to his form a few years back I think.  Roo will be a top 4 fwd this year.

haha in same box as u... so tempted by the hoff... looks like he could repeat early last year again and could do it more consistently

Cox and Nroo! make it happen

My team has a lot of midpricers already, unless I want to weaken my midfield even more or throw another risky midpricer into my forward line (where the midpricers are the riskiest), I cannot have both. I guess it's a structural thing.

Against Adelaide last year he has a 41 and a 140  :o

He's a Russian roulette player - could make or break your week.

I would be taking Cox and Wingard personally. I am a bit against the masses on N Roo.. I actually think he will drop 10 off his average form last year. Jacobs burnt me bad last year so I might be biased on this but he just looked like shower last season. He had a good game last week but for me Cox is a proven gun and he looked dominant last week.

I have Wingard and the Hoff in my team atm :P I think Wingard will only go up this year and as for the hoff.. I didn't actually ride the train with im last year so I'm ready to jump aboard this year. He was just so dominant last week. He had a quieter 2nd half but he copped a prety solid elbow from Walker so was probably a bt rattled.

I disagree there. Riewoldt looked like the hardest working bloke on the park last weekend. If you think he'll drop 10 points due to age, I think you underestimate him and his AFL fitness/recovery staff.

I've decided against Hoff. Too risky. His role changes nearly every quarter, and if a team sets themselves to stop him by matching him up with a player who can go with him, he puts out 40s. Majority of his points last week came against Watson, who is hardly an elite key position defender.

Anything with Roo is good. He'll net you an 80+ every game!  ;)

Jacobs should hopefully improve. Why not McEvoy or Mummy instead?  ???
