The kid has a lot of talent. Couldn't cope in Melbourne.

Bill Manspeaker

he's gonna be spewin in 10 years time

West Coast or Freo will pick him up

Mr.Craig

Unfortunately you have to move a lot of dirt to get the gold.

soft....
Mate just don't. Clearly he is a troubled person who has some issues, but don't just go calling someone soft. Would you call someone with depression soft if they quit their job? Takes a brave man to speak up and say they are having troubles. The stigma that people with mental health issues are soft needs to be cut out by now. We are living in the 21st century now, not the 1930's. So seriously grow up before you start calling someone soft because they are having problems.

Mr.Craig

On the plus side, we've still got this bloke.

i'm allowed to have my opinion he was struggling to turn up to training every day what did he think it was going to be easy?

Mentally he can't handle it KB and doesn't have the family support many of us take for granted. I agree its a waste of such a raw talent and he has made some terrible choices in the past, but people don't know the whole story when it comes to Dayle.

It makes me angry that he's packed his bags because he's got the talent and now hes just thrown the biggest opportunity of his life away and apossibly destroyed somebody elses as hes stolen their spot in the draft

I agree with KB... soft

Could of got a few hundred grand a year to kick and chase a ball around.
Oh the regrets he will have when he turns 30...

Rookies don't get "a few hundred grand" to just kick a football around

Because he would be a rookie for his whole career?

Disappointing news, Garlett is very talented and it's a shame that talent will go to waste.
Hopefully he goes back home and sorts out his life. I doubt Freo or West Coast will take a punt on him.
