Not to have a shot,  but hasn't Riewoldt kicked 17 goals in the last 3 weeks. ... and each essentially meaningless?

Toga

What do you mean by essentially meaningless Oz? A goal is a goal, someone has to kick them :P

Nige

The 11 vs GWS helped us win that game...  :P

Junktime Jack

Jroo

Jack can't win, he kicks goals he gets bagged.
He doesn't kick goals he gets bagged.

Ty Vickery offered a three match ban for striking Michael Firrito, down to two with an early plea.

Matt Thomas offered a one match suspension for engaging in rough conduct against Brent Harvey.
Whelp.

Hopefully O'Hanlon and Helbig/Arnot come in for them then.
Not massive loses.
They seem like the logical replacements.
Like someone said on the NMFC facebook page this morning, would be more of a punishment to force Richmond to play Vickery for the next 3 weeks rather than let them off easy and suspend him :P

Giants were terrible,  those 11 goals meant nothing really

Kicked the other 6 in the final quarters of Essendon and North when the game was over

At least he kept trying till the end unlike many of his teammates.

Ricochet

Does that say more about Jack or his teammates getting him the ball.

Yeah, fair enough Oz and you're not the first person that has said that, but I don't really agree in this situation. Rusty sums up my thoughts on it:

And regardless, as Jroo said it doesn't matter what Jack does he will get bagged so there's not that much point in defending him :P

Mailman the 2nd

It's really silly IMO to say Jack Riewoldt's goals didn't matter because then in perspective:

1. None of Travis Cloke's goals this entire season have mattered.
2. Chad Wingard's mark didn't matter.
3. Roughead's goals didn't matter, or any forward who kicked goals against a weaker team or when the game was over
