I'm done. Adios.

Nige, I started following AFL (properly) in 2006, where I chose to support Melbourne. That is the only decent year i've witnessed as a supporter. We lost in a semi-final to Fremantle.

After that Melbourne have finished (in order): 14th (5 wins), Wooden Spooners (3 wins), Wooden Spooners (4 wins), 12th (8 wins, 1 draw), 13th (8 wins, 1 draw), 16th (4 wins) and 17th (2 wins). (Not including the current season)

Taking out the first year I followed them (which was around halfway through the season anyway), I've witnessed and sat through:

- 34 wins in 7 years (and 2 draws)
- An average of 4.86 wins per year
- 2 Wooden Spoons
- Averaging a Wooden Spoon every 0.29 years (close to every third year)
- 1 Finals appearance

You'll be fine...

Good to see Maric did ok, he can't come back soon enough. Also pleasing to hear Thomas & Miles (again) were among our better players, can't wait for Miles to get his well-deserved call up.

No idea how you can go from 5th to 14th with a better list in 12 months.

Exactly, plus not many have improved from our side.
Pretty even comp this year. There are plenty of sides outside the eight that can make finals.

Donnie Brasco

I reckon a lot of guys played above themselves, too many of them just aren't up to it.

When have you seen Grigg or Vickery come off the ground exhausted? Both are just taking the p155, because they know they are untouchable and won't be dropped.

You know you're having a shower year when the Melbourne supporters are offering support  :'(
