Author suggesting that Fasolo has been pegged to play a new running/rebounding role off half back - could he be one to keep an eye on as a corrective trade in the forwards? I'm thinking an almost-straight swap to Fasolo from Rohan could be on the cards if things continue as they are... Again, I know it's only 1 round etc, but still could be an inspired pick!

Had him in my team up until rd 1 teams were around. Seems like he could be decent value.

RaisyDaisy

I'd want to see him in that role for 2 weeks before I even think about him, because right now from purely an SC point of view I look at him the same way I look at Rohan. I might be wrong, but that's just my opinion

Why didn't he play last week? From everything I have seen his not even in their best 22 and would need to fight his way into the side

HotTiges

Geez keen as mustard.. Like it's mentioned, see what his role in the seniors is.. If he does comeback..don't have this issue.. Rohan at F7

Bully

I have real issues at F6 so Fasolo would be a white knight of sorts. Will keep close tabs on him.

dmac07

Wanted him, but would have to do awefully well in his first two games to oick him, have higgins at f6 who was pretty good today and impey/jkh on the bench. Would consider rohan to him if id started rohan

AaronKirk

I want to see what he does in the senior side first. His fitness looked poor in the NAB challenge.

A lot of people commenting about how they see him as a solution to F6. Why is everyone so keen on Fasolo? Have I missed something? Was ordinary on Saturday night, the main concern was that his disposal was poor. Can only see him at most average 60-70.

Sad thing is that I'd be happy with 60-70 from my F6, rather than the utter f*#king tripe that Rohan is serving me up every week.

First game back after a 1 year hiatus, of course he'll be a little bit rusty. Importantly, he got his hands on the ball and it wasn't just deep in the forward line. If he's not sub then I suspect Buckley will play him into some form. At this stage 70-75 would be just what the doctor ordered, those with Rohan at F6 are competeing with the likes of McDonald & Langdon at D6. I see it as a nil all draw so won't be too fussed if that's all he produces.

RaisyDaisy

Until he can prove he is in their best 22 I am not interested.

Prior to his injury he was in the best 22, in fact he played 21 games in 2012. His main competition in Ben Kennedy seems to be out of favour and I wouldn't be surprised if Fasolo spends a lot more time on the ball, particularly given Swan's demise and Luke Ball's aging body. The boy can play, it just becomes a case of getting some miles into the legs, something which is very likely to happen. I'm throwing caution to the wind and bringing him in pronto, I like him as a footballer and think he's a worthy F6.

Well said Bully.

I thought he did fine on the weekend and was probably in our top 8-15 player range on the night so I would think he did his JS no harm. I expect Bennedy to come in this week for Adams and maybe a surprise selection for dwyer (Kmart maybe Yagmoor, surely cant give Marty Clarke another run so soon)

Bennedy played well in the 2nd's and looks the logical replacement for Adams. I have share the concerns that Raisy has. I'm yet to be convinced he will be a permanent member in Collingwood's best 22.

RaisyDaisy

No doubt he is a better F6 option than the rookies and Rohan Bully, but I just need to see that his JS is solid before I picked him

As for K-Mart, pretty sure he is not eligible to play seniors.
