it really is stupid though. do they really think if they have heaps of viewers tonight that it was because of the time slot they have it at? it is just flowerin stupid. people are going to watch it regardless of the time, so why make us wait a whole day for the game to start.

Nah I don't think it is because Ch 7 can only broadcast the certain amount of games per round.

Which is a problem with the split round I think as it means only 2 or 3 games are broadcasted per weekend, instead of the usual 4 or 5 (can't remember how many we're meant to get).

In Queensland it's 4, but we'll occasionly get 3 or 5.

We've had our four games for the round on 7.

Victoria gets 4 every single week on free to air. Other states occasionally get 3 or 5. Depends on who their home teams are playing.

I'm not actually sure why they're even doing it this round- the split round means they can easily have an afternoon game :/

No I don't like it at all, Saturday sure, Sunday no, day footy then unwind Sunday evening, dinner and all, other things on also, flog Sunday Night off >:(
