I'd keep Ellis but I'm tempted to replace Hurn with Fuller, take Langdons 110 and pocket the 400k for a correctional trade next week.  Dumb move or not?

Very tempting...

And if Hurn knocks up 130 against the Dogs? Silly move, I can understand Fuller replacing a rookie but not a premo, classic robbing Peter to pay Paul.
I have just checked Hurns past stats and was surprised to see that he has only gone above 130 ONCE in the past 4 years (140 V GC in 2011). A quick question, Ellis or Macrae? Which one.

dude! i think you are mad to trade hurn to fuller and get in macrae ... i will make a big call and pick ellis to beat macrae in sc today ... up to you ... get in higgo haha
with Hurn & Ellis I'll only have 65k to work with. The major advantage if I was to get Hurn out for Fuller+350k is that I think Langdon could keep up an average of 75 as could Langford. Then LMAC could go down to Laidler in 2 weeks before the price hike if he doesn't perform again.  I would also have enough cash to go Rohan>Zorko this week. Would leave me with a very solid forward line and an opportunity for an amazing midfield. leuy & sandi rucks. The weakness would be the back line of Mcveigh, Mitchell & suckling with rooks.

Up to you but I would personally hold Hurn, F6 is a problem I'm also facing but not at the expense of my backline. Depth is also important, the byes could potentially cause huge headaches if your rookies start under performing or get dropped.

Had both Tyson and Michie on the field. Thought both would kill the Saints inexperienced midfield. Hindsight... ::)

me too, spewing I benched Dunstan, should have known better given it was always going to be scrappy. 39 points down the gurgler.

Can't afford too many of these mistakes so will be loopholing as much as possible.

All the signs pointed towards Michie scoring better than Dunstan though. Better NAB scores, been in the system longer, etc.
Just one of those days

That was my thinking too, but one thing I didn't realise was his very ordinary kicking, it's almost like he slaps the ball on his boot instead of guiding it. No fluency whatsoever, a big worry for his DE.

So who started michie instead of tyson to save cash?

I did :(

sigh! :'( :(

frenzy

michie played 73% game time on a bad game for 61 SC .  so roughly should score 80-85 on a bad game playing closer to 100% game time. Don't know that I'm that unhappy with this compared to you guys. Quite a few premos done just as bad, but no mention of them.
I say hold if you have him.

Oh yeah, I think I'll hold him, just wish I'd parked him on the bench or had Tyson instead.

Round 1, hey?  ::)

Sabretooth Tigers

 :)
Happily had Tyson,   Polec,   Ellis,   Dunstan   on the field   with   Michie   and    Cunningham   on the pine.    ;D

I'm not trading but I have my doubts about his reliability, he can sit on the bench for now.

I have him on the bench as well, I will be looking at him closely next week as I have my eye on Cunningham.

So true, but you have to look at who is going to make the most money @ the quickest rate IMO.

Michie is not cheap, so no harm in just looking atm
