Had Gaj (C), Pendles, Beams and Murphy with Polec, Tyson, Aish and Dunstan with Michie and X on bench so wrapped with my midfield.

Def has been found wanting as to has my fwd line

Sandi + Big B Mac was a good combo too.

I'm on the cusp of thinking I may drop Hurn for Fuller too, get Langdons 111 and upgrade a fwd for rd 3...?

Had Michie, Polec n Ellis starting. Sunstone n Crouch on bench.
Might get rid of crouch if he isn't named to Langford and move McDonald to mids.
Then next week get rid of Mcdonald for Tyson. Or if Daisy stinks it again he's out.

I am not fully aware of the Melbourne list ... But in all honesty ... I question his job security! He looked poor to me and genuinely dumb with the football ... He obviously doesn't understand he is a solid unit! Use a bit of bulk man ... If I had his frame I would be smashing blokes and making my presence felt not being a pansy!  ... Ooo I'm not a fan!

One more week for me, if he can't dominate against a St Kilda rabble then there's no hope. Disposal terrible, there's something wrong with his ball drop too, reminds me of a fella named Trent Nicholls who played for Richmond & West Coast in the 90's. Aish is looking like a far better alternative.

I'd keep Ellis but I'm tempted to replace Hurn with Fuller, take Langdons 110 and pocket the 400k for a correctional trade next week.  Dumb move or not?

i last minute traded tyson to aish... to add insult to injury i had webster too. langdon and dunstan on the bench, michie, aish, webster, rohan and macdonald on the field. fmsc.

And if Hurn knocks up 130 against the Dogs? Silly move, I can understand Fuller replacing a rookie but not a premo, classic robbing Peter to pay Paul.

A friend of mine had Laidler and Langdon on field, and benched LMac. Had Tyson, Polec, Dunstan on field and benched Michie. Lucky bugger!

Luck does play a pretty big part in this game, but it's early days, plenty of time to make up ground

That is lucky, I'm sure the winner will have a similar set up. Hopefully Ellis scores big today to ease the pain a little, I'd be happy with an 80 to be honest.

I have just checked Hurns past stats and was surprised to see that he has only gone above 130 ONCE in the past 4 years (140 V GC in 2011). A quick question, Ellis or Macrae? Which one.

He scored 118 against the Doggies last year, and I think it will be a free flowing game this time around. You have a 50% chance of losing points and also blowing trade. Unless you have some other master plan then I'd hold Hurn. He has a super draw early and should average close to 100.

As for Ellis & Macrae, I'd pick Ellis and bank the cash. It also means you don't have to weaken your back line.

ellis is a must in sc simple as that ... anyone that has not picked him will be sorry if they havent got him in before price rises

Had both Tyson and Michie on the field. Thought both would kill the Saints inexperienced midfield. Hindsight... ::)
