I thought L.McDonald was really terrible, looked lost and gun shy.
He'll be becoming Kolo if he doesn't improve round 2

Really hope KK gets the nod this week, I have reserved enough cash just in case.
Not sure if he will with Bennell and Tape to come back into a winning side

Damn, maybe a downgrade target then.

It's quite handy that LMac has played (at least) one week more, you can wait till after 1 price rise and aren't forced to spend any cash.

Don't have Lmac but he's still in contention, problem with delaying is it locks me into KK when others like Laidler & Georgiou could fill the void. Will make a decision prior to round 3.

i have KK now and i think he will come straight in tbh a spot is open straight away with martin out so chuck bennell in for him... then we have players like tape, lemmens and my mate who told me to pick KK to start the season with assures me that KK is well and truly ahead of these blokes ... whether or not they wanna throw him to the gauntlet of freo at pattersons this week is my only worry

KK had 45 touches in the reserves - surely that's plenty to give him the nod this week.

Wow - that's T Mitchell territory - was he running through the middle?

To be fair, ZDawson could get 45 in the NEAFL :P

I wasn't expecting a good average but at 312k with past scoring and JS, here was a must in the backs.

But yeah I'll watch closely for two weeks. Two guys I wouldn't mind having his place.
suckling was never a MUST!. Yes he has good job security and has scored well in the past but NEVER to a premium level. With many rookie backs a chance then you were better off saving nearly 200k and besides it all comes down to your overall structure.

Agreed, never wanted Suckling, wasnt manyboptions at his price but still left him out. Has scored well but never been a keeper, and suspected he would start slow, as most guys do after 12 months so didnt expect a quick price, could still prove me wrong and bring up 3 consecutive tons, but have picked for a 75ish average for the first few games.

if you have him tho id stay on him, should still gradually improve. Only reason id trade him is if you jissed out on Langdon.

Langdon's score was pretty exciting - but not quite THAT exciting!!  :o  :-[

Won't be doing any correctional trades after 1 round of footy. Daisy is the only one in my side that I am a bit iffy about so if he scores below 80 in round 2 then I will turn him into a premo mid.

jeesh

Soon as the lockout ends I don't think there will be any need to wait for teams to make the trade of Wanganeen to Langdon. Think he is most likely the one to make way for Cyril and then it give's me a handy DPP link to the backs. Will definitely wait another week before going Michie to Tyson. Michie could out score Tyson in round 2 and be all the rage again

got to agree reminded me of my first seniors game at 18.  didn't know which way to look.   give him another week or two to see if he settles down.

Webster to Laidler is on the cards like many many others.

Suckling to Swallow is also an option for many.

Daisy to Tyson will only happen if tyson has a big one against WCE and Daisy can't scrape an 80 but not so sure on this one.

issue with daisy isn't going to be getting the ball.  did you see him kick on the weekend.   I know under 12-s who kick as far.
if his kicking remains weak he will never get back to being a premo and in SC kicking is important

I think Lmac's position is safe in the team for now. The team as a whole was lost and confused under some seriously good play from Essendon. Not every week that North will find it near impossible to get the ball, I don't think he's much of a worry at this stage. Touch wood he doesn't get dropped.

Although, if Brad Scott wanted to drop players for poor form, half of this weeks team might be playing in the VFL.
