Very interesting discussion.trending nicely. It's very easy to be sucked in by 1 good performance or feel completely destroyed by another.. Always certain players you regret starting or not starting with.. Sticky worthy? Always a good bookmark to look at, at the end of season..

Do prices go up after 2 or 3 games this year? I am happy to hold out another week before deciding if i can!

Vinny

If Goldy is out for a long time, I'll consider Goldy > Hickey and Daisy to Watson/Selwood.

But I'll hold for now.

Wanted to do just one... Clurey to Langford.
But now thinking:
McDonald to Langford and Michie/Ellis to Tyson

Wont be touching Rocky for me... never sideway trade premiums.

Bit early to be considering Ellis as trade bait isn't it, got give him at least 1 game lol

Yeah premiums don't get traded. I've had Mitchelll 84, McVeigh 82, Hodge 98 and Boomer 74 under perform to an extent but they are all safe as houses. I will tell this story for the rest of my days. I learnt the hard way why you shouldn't trade premiums. Back in 2010 after Boomer had a stinker in round 2 and scored 11 I stupidly traded him out and he came out round 3 and went absolutely ballistic and scored 176. I'm scarred for life from it but at least learnt to never trade premiums

Ye but I can afford either one. As I said up two posts up, happy to wait after round 2 before deciding.

you know your in trouble when........ your D6 top scores in your backline, is all I got to say !!!

On a similar note, how many correctional trades do you guys plan to use?

Vinny

Goldy is cleared.

Only guys on the chopping block perhaps: McDonough and MAYBE, just maybe Suckers.

Although I don't have many options besides my smokie that I backed out on before lockout stupidly.

hawkers65

I'm stoked with my ruckmen! Two guys costing me a measly 330k only for them to return me with 127 and 98!

Don't think i'll need any correctional trades, unless Tyson goes like 70+ again next week, then he would almost have to be a must heading into round 3 with a tiny break even. Unfortunately have no cash so for me to do this i'd need to downgrade one of Martin/Rohan.

Sitting on 1953 with Libba, Higgins and Ellis left. You'd think i'd go 2200 comfortably which was my aim so stocked on that part too!

The last line!! Don't panic with premo's always give them extra time and faith. As for the topic, at this point I don't see any sideways trades for mine. Pretty happy.

suckers firmly under my eye too ... was always going to be a crap pick this year

Bully

Still need to decide my D6, Laidler, Georgiou & McDonald all in contention.

Vinny

I wasn't expecting a good average but at 312k with past scoring and JS, here was a must in the backs.

But yeah I'll watch closely for two weeks. Two guys I wouldn't mind having his place.

You blokes that have got the cross hairs on suckling i'm interested to see if you have caddy as well and whether the 9 points more caddy scored has considered him safe?
