I couldn't give a stuff about the 'experience' he brings, I'd rather someone who can actually perform.
This. I'd prefer someone with actual football ability.

PowerBug

Yeah sorry tbag I'm with the other two here, I think it's better of playing a younger player that has got more football ability. Leadership only goes so far and I think the crows have got good leaders on the field already in that midfield :)

I take it you two didn't see any of the crows win over North then?
And? He's a good SANFL player cause he can keep up the pace but he's past it in the AFL, he'd just be a liability.
What we lacked last week was Lairdy and experience, also the Hawks loss. Adelaide needs what VB offers ON FIELD, leadership and 200 games of experience when we play those top teams in tight contests!

As I have already said now, twice :P

PB is right though! VB plays and we flog off flogs like Tippo, Danger and that SpudGunston ;)
You know what helps the leadership problems? Not having to worry about a bloke who refuses to kick more than 1 metre above the ground. NVB may be able to get 12 quality touches in the SANFL but AFL pace and skill has past him.

tbagrocks

Well what I saw in that last Q when the crows got over North was, VB! VB was the one that grabbed the bull and won the game with those very same qualities we were missing against Freo and the WBD!

I don't expect others to agree with me but with Lairdy still out (Vital) the experience and composure under pressure VB can bring

Don't believe me though, just wait and see what Pykey does in 20 minutes!

Milera in for Mackay. Happy with that :)

What even is Mackay's role in the team? Never really worked out what it is...

He's meant to provide some outside run, which we do lack but yeah he is fringe at best.

TomK

He'd been playing a lot more in the centre square as well this season, which surprised me given his lighter frame

tbagrocks

I was a little surprised he stayed in over JL, Lyons has been pretty good :-\  happy to see Milera in over Dmac though

Milera's class will help on a dry night where Adelaide's run will be vital! THANK GOD it is supposed to be SUNNY today :P  The last thing we wanted was to face the Cats earlier this week with horrible wet wether.

17 of 18 players named on ground for Adelaide Crows Reserves are on the Crows list including Van Belo, Mackay, Grigg, CEY, Seedsman, Hampton and Milera. All of who plus a few more like Harrison Wigg could play seniors.

But that is a huge number named this week! I'd be a little disappointed if they lose to Premiership fancy Eagles this week!

Looking to become the first ever club to win the SANFL and AFL Premierships in the same year :o

More importantly is the form of the kids like Harry Dear, Doedee 8) , Menzel, Dean Gore, Harrison Wigg, Reilly O'Brien, Riley Knight, Jono Beach, Alex Keith, Jake Kelly and the unlucky CEY (Hopefully doesn't leave us) and that's without mentioning veterans like Otten, Grigg and Hendo

This young Adelaide Reserves is monstering it, the future of our footy club is very, VERY, bright 8)

My money would be on the VFL/AFL double being done, could well be wrong though.
