Grimes>Dunn>Watts

probably this, but then watch watts have his coming of age year. think there are probably better options than all three though

Can you get the cash for someone like Hurn or Birchall? If not, then probably Grimes

Grimes if he isn't used as a tagger. One of Dees best ball users.

Only one game gone but 2 players i am really keen on are Mummy & Swallow..watching intently.

Watts DDP is handy,Dunn less injury prone than Grimes idk...draw straws

(Swallow) .... Watts for mine, can't c how he cannot improve on last years numbers

A lot depends on both of their roles this season.  Grimes wont be pushing into the midfield as much with all our (Melbourne's) emphasis on recruiting and developing midfielders.  Add Cross, Vince and Tyson (and perhaps Mitchie) into the Mid with Jones and Trengove, plus Jack Viney when fit and Jimmy T as an outside runner, and there shouldn't be any need for Grimes to rotate through there.  A similar thing can be said for Watts, though he does pose a match-up question to opposition sides if he was to go in for (in my opinion) short impact spells.  So the question is more who will be the main rebounding defender for 2014, and everything so far points to.... Lynden Dunn (shakes my head in bemusement, but happy to eat my words should I be proven wrong!)  Dunn is a penetrating kick, but is a very frustrating player to watch, as his decision making at times is shambolic!  So as in answer to your question, as a demons fan I'd say.....none of the above?  If pushed I'd lean toward Grimes, as he seems to have a better temperament than the other two, as well as being less likely to go missing.  Hope that helps a little ;)

thanks for the input guys, went grimes , so hopefully he has a good season.

wish i had more time to study players in the preseason, but, its a long way to the finals, so plenty of time to manage the team.

currently on 2060 from 20 with higgins and ellis(emergency for kieran jack) tomorrow.

dissapointments so far have been

daisy
rohan
kennedy-harris
L.mcdonald (langdon 111 on bench)

ablett, watson, beams, cotchin, murphy, simpson, dangerfield, martin, wingard were as good as i could have hoped for.
