Just a bit carried away :P Its just good we have cover now! Espcially for me as i'm rocking the Hickylands combo!

Yeah perfect cover as Hawkers mentioned.

If Goldy is indeed out for a few weeks it creates great insurance for Nic Nat and makes me feel much more comfortable in his selection.

if going for league only i could conceive holding goldy for a few weeks to see how currie goes as #1 ruck, with an eye to holding him until his return if currie can average 80-90+

Probably not a complete disaster but if you have Currie as R3 and have Goldy you could hold.. Lose quite a few points but save a trade..Surely Goldy owners had Currie as R3

Will be looking intently to who to bring in to replace Goldstein if he is out. If the circumstance arises off what I have seen in round one i'd definitely will be looking at Mumford and the rucks who play this weekend (Leuey, Big Boy, Nic Nat, Cox)

I guess one can still hold but with King as a loophole, it means Currie would need to be traded in. 200k vs 1 trade, I think it's a worthy corrective trade.

I have hampson/hickey/sandi combo so really hoping goldy has a quick recovery. If no one has a rookie ruck playing during the byes, thats where I plan to catch up on some points :)

Haha actually I started with goldy and sandi with currie and max king like most people. By going goldy to hickey and currie to hampson, I actually saved about 80k. That and I get to loophole for a ruck score each week and get an extra player during the bye round. Too early to tell if it was a good move but for round 1 it looked to be a success with hampson tonning up. :)

I just cannot justify spending that money on a rookie that is probably not going to be a top 3 rookie, there are other options that will score probably just as well, and you can save $70K. Same with Tyson.

almost dropped him for aish in my mids.    will probably td simpson to swallow next week.   only chicken s]]ted at last moment and dropped him for simmo.   going to swap out mcd at r3 as I agree likely 70 ptr at best and recok aish or lower price rookie will pay off better

Why trade Simpson to Swallow? Do you believe Swallow will outscore him over the course of the season?
