Thanks Aaronkirk, i can see clearly now that the risk for both are there clearly, but the risk is greater with picking amid priced R1 as if i dont have any money left over than im screwed. But a rookie is expected to have a bad game here and then, so here's hoping that is his only spud game. I'll reevaluate rohan after round 2, and im sticking with Goldy, seems like the majority of the votes here are for Goldy and Rohan, but i can see the potential for Hickey and parker, just the risk is too high for me to pay since i have already too many mid pricers in my side

hickey will go good this week cos melbourne dont have a ruckman ... but dont panic he will be back to being a useless scorer next week

Alot of people are judging players off one game and that can't be done. With rohan and even with Buddy, people are already planning their trades for next week, which is understandable, but patience is sometimes required in this game. When i look at rohan's pre season stats, he also had one pre season game where he scored similar to his round game, but his other two games were around the 70 mark. I expect him to throw the odd spud score here and then, but let's just hope it is not all the time.

I hope you're right but one thing that struck me was Rohan constantly skirting the packs instead of winning his own ball. Wet conditions should be tailored made for the small forwards, worrying signs from my perspective.

i felt like rohan was so close to the play so often without impacting it .. just hoping it changes next week ... atm i think he is my first possible trade though but it wont be this week that is for sure

yeh Hickey might score 90+ this week, but that should be expected, we'll see how he really goes against the big boys. I think one more week for rohan defintely. but it really depends on what you are aiming for i suppose. If you're going overall you might want to plug that hole at F6 before you start sinking. But if you're going for league, sometime patience is the best trade in itself.
