Currently have Aish (M9) and Dahlhaus (F5)
Looking at getting Rockliff (M3) and Taylor (F6)

will have to play Taylor on the ground which puts me off slightly but like the side with 5 premo mids (incl Beams)
It would mean Higgins is pushed to F5 and one of Rohan, Taylor and Impey are F6

thoughts?

Now im thinking Roughead. Think Aish will be a solid cash cow during the season though..
May end up becoming whether Taylor is sub or not

Roughead and Taylor
Dahlhaus and Aish
Taylor and Rockliff?

I'd say Taylor is about a 99% chance of getting the green vest this week. If he somehow manages to avoid it, would go with option 2. If not, then option 1. Can you get anyone better than Dahlhaus though? Like Gunston for example.

Dont rate gunston but I would have the funds to pick him up
I really rate Dahlhaus though, I'm just getting more and more unsure by the day :S

What about Taylor on the pine in the mids and Roughead up fwd?

At the moment im thinking that its Roughead v Rockliff.. Taylor i think I can hold in my mid bench if need be

I have 6 rookie mids and Aish was the last to be selected and would be the first to go. Think he could be a good cash cow but has a larger pricetag than others for no real difference in scoring potential. If you're happy with forward rooks then Taylor as M9/10 wouldn't be bad but I think Taylor will end up of my forward bench for JKH. If Taylor does not get the green vest I'll replace JKH with him. If he does then I'll cross my fingers on JKH.

hmm I suppose thats always a possibility as well..
wait to see if he is subbed and replace him with JKH..
that way regardless I can have Rockliff in the mids

I could also get some money by downgrading Currie > King and then have both Aish and Roughead

Thinking Roughead and Taylor in the mids for now. That gives me a bit of flexibility in that if rookies raise their heads and give me a reason to downgrade Rohan then I have the option of trading him midfield on the bubble, say for Aish if he does come out of the blocks?

In saying that, if taylor isn't the sub then I want him on field in the fwd line and jumping on Rockliff
Don't trust JKH to not get the vest in that team

tie atm fellas very tight! i have gone through all 3 different scenarios with my team throughout the day :S
what should I do? thinking of just sticking to my gut and choosing Dahlhaus and Aish

If you're ok with copping a possible subbed score from Taylor this week, I'd go with Rocky and Taylor.
If not, then get Roughy and Taylor.

in the perfect world I would love to do that.. Chances of Taylor being the sub though? how much preseason work has he done? sounds like he played an intraclub match last week? how much time did he have?

He had an injury early on in the pre-season which meant he missed out on nab games and didn't play in the practice match against the swans. Played in the reserves though and did quite well from what I read. The fact that Leppa has named him for round 1 ahead of guys like Robertson and Cutler makes me think his JS is just off the charts haha. I'd expect him to be the sub this week, would be very surprised if he wasn't.
I currently have him at M10 btw, and I have both Rocky and Roughy :P

hmmm i have the four mid premos (GAJ, Pendles, JPK and Beams) and think all the other rookies (Tyson, Michie, Polec, Ellis, Dunstan) are locks so it just depends what I do with that final spot..
Another rookie or a premium?

If i went a premium it means that a rookie fwd has to play for me and i dont know if i like that set up :S

Think sticking with what I have got.. Dahlhaus and Aish will be solid. If it needs fixing then Rohan can make way for Taylor.

Struugled with this one. I have Roughie and Rockliff 'cause I couldn't separate them.

If I absolutely had to choose I'd go with Rockliff.

Oh and I hate Higgins!
