All options are attractive enough but I really think that Taylor has the highest ceiling of them all. He was TAC player of the year and the co-captain of Vic Country, and the fact he's an onballer makes him a very atractive proposition. I also like Merrett given his disposal is outstanding, so it's tough one.

McDonald at D6, Langford at D7 and Taylor at M10 is locked for me - I am passing on Georgiou. Thought about the donut to get Langdons score, but hoping McDonald can go 80ish then wont be too upset to miss out on 30ish points difference

JKH or Merrett is the only decision I have left to make

All of a sudden I am getting cold on Georgiou...

Georgiou will not be the sub. He is a key defender, the most unlikely sort of player to be the sub.

My money is on Matt Jones to be the sub. Would love to see Byrnes as the sub though which is a possibility even though he has been named on the field.

RaisyDaisy

Not cold on him because I think he will be sub - just cold on him in general - Garland returning soon concerns me and just feel like Langford is the better option

Absolutely agree - actually think he is nearly no chance to start sub - Jones/Byrnes and JJK the likely options, but I reckon Jones gets it

I wouldn't be to concerned about Garland, reckon he will play Fwd, given all the fwds that are out

Georgiou > KK for me whenever he comes in

The coach seems pretty happy about Taylor and his game in the reserves last week at 173cm and 77kgs bit of a Brent Harvey type his TAC history is good even if he is sub think I might pop on him instead of JKH . Leppitsch said the type of player the fans will love to watch play sounds like game time to me

felsty

and Rohan > Taylor as well by the look of it lol

Spot on, Taylor is just as accomplished both inside & out, he will win the hard ball which equates to SC gold. As far as being a fan favourite, I concur with Leppa, the kid has amazing agility and can duck a weave through traffic like a mini-Boomer. I had him pegged at pick 12 in my mock draft, which goes to show the potential bargain Brissie have on their hands. By those standards he should be priced in the 170k region.

Does anyone think that Ambrose is worth a look in?

He won't be the sub. Merrett or Gleeson will be the sub. But Ambrose's JS would be shaky at best.

RaisyDaisy

Oh well, turns out all 3 started as sub!

Ended up going with Taylor M10 and JKH F7 - hopefully these guys can hold their spots for a while

HotTiges

Yeah all 3 lol oh well kept JKH f8 see how Taylor goes next week..

Bully

Merrett looks the best so far, will give them all 2 weeks to stake a claim and then make a decision.

I went Ambrose instead of these 3 and so far the pick looks solid. I see plenty of upside in his game and Bomber Thompson, judging by his press conference loves the kid!
