Matthew Wright at Half-Forward

Matthew Wright has been named at Half-Forward ..i see danger named Forward as well....are we still expecting Wright to rotate heavily through middle in Richard Douglas absence? i was really hoping that he would start Mid!...Brodie Smith named in the guts instead...if Wright isn't looking at any more midfield time i might be keen to move him on...would really value the communities thoughts on this,Thanks

Doesn't mean anything unfortunately man. Could still tag for sure.

Sando has said Wright will play in the midfield + up forward this year.
Also Proplyzia was named on the ball, I doubt he'll spend a lot of time there, so don't read too much into the teams.

All above is true true Grufflez.. And you can't ignore his NAB Scoring.. He will get MID time IMO.

Thanks for the reply's but none of them really answered my question, With Douglas out is Wright looking at more Mid time in your opinions or more likely to play the exact same role as last year?
If his role hasn't changed and he is still looking at the same amount of Mid rotation + some taggings duties i am trading him out!..to be a viable pick and increase in 4 or 5 games while Douglas is gone maybe 6 in Douglas plays a SANFL game before returning i would need Wright to go 95-105 most games in those 5 weeks!

Agree with this..bit like Jordan Lewis, can ton up but sacrifice his game for the team and perform tagging or defensive fwd roles.. A risky pick who will frustrate
