i think with Matty Crouch not being named and Crows having quite a few still to come back in, its very risky keeping him. I think he may not play till 2nd half of the season

I actually think he might come in next week for the derby, particularly if Adelaide get flogged at Geelong. It is a worry that Douglas is being fast tracked but you can basically put a line through Van Berlo's name as he won't play for an extended period. Looking at the Crow's bench, I think there's a number of guys who will be on notice. Crouch is next in line so anything could happen.

I'm very bullish on Crouch's prospects if he does get named beacause at every turn he's looked like an accomplished footballer, both at senior and junior level. He'll be Supercoach gold if he gets a decent run at it.

yep its very interesting. I would rather keep him in my side if i knew he was going to be playing in the next few weeks cause he is supercoach gold, but its just so uncertain. Theres no point having a rookie mid not playing on ur bench and wasting a trade to get him out if hes not playing, its safer to pick a rookie mid who is playing with good JS like Aish

If Robertson is playing it'll be a case of "Crouch who?"

I can't afford Aish, so I'm tempted just to ride with Crouch for two weeks and maybe jump ship to the best bubble boy out of Taylor, Robertson, Cunningham & Lemmens if he's not named. I'm still regretting my late switch from Terlich to Brown last year and would be kicking myself if it happened a second time. Granted, it's a burnt trade but it also gives me a good look at all the rookies. In the meantime I will loophole Crouch.

Lewis Taylor trained with the main group today. Word out of Brisbane is that one of Robertson and Taylor will join Aish and Close in making their debuts this weekend.

should we trade crouch to anyone asap so when the crow game starts he won't be locked in, that way at worst if who we selected doesn't end up making the final squad we can swap him for someone else

If you don't want Crouch then yep - just pick a weekend player for now and then change tomorrow

If you have no intention of keeping him then get cracking. I'm holding for now given Robertson & Taylor are well and truly in the frame. If I have to trade in round 3 then so be it, but I want to properly assess all the rookies on offer.
