he was my RDT R3
was kind of hoping for a collective game between HMac and Sandi, but thinking of changing HMac into Hickey (VERY solid JS right now with an injured Longer)

yes definitely Hickey over Hmac now. Plus i no its over analysing but with Blicavs as the sub there is every chance they will sub either Hmac or Simpson to get a bit more run even though Blicavs is still a ruck man he is as fit as a rover

Just traded HMac then after having him all pre-season due to talk of him getting subbed...

I will be really annoyed if he even goes 70+. :P

Speaking of rucks in RDT who are you going with at R3. Are you throwing your rucks or do you have a emergency. Its annoying because they are no rookie rucks getting a game, which means u have to waste 150k or more to get a emergency ruck to just purely be there for a late out

running Lobbe-Sandi-Hickey-Currie as my combo
prepared for an early Sandi injury by having reasonable cover (ie Hickey)
think they'll both rise in cash relatively quickly too, so would be an easy swap to a premo (if Sandi lasts till byes)

I've also stacked other lines (due to a lack of DEF and FWD rooks), and running a SERIOUSLY weakened midline (my M3 is Beams)

My reasoning is the the doggies are flying under the radar abit and are a much better side this year.

i think this will be hickeys easiest game for the year but

I was looking at Hickey last night for this week and then planned on sideways/mini-upgrading him to HMac at the conclusion of round one after having HMac locked in all pre-season (was scared off by the talk of him getting subbed though).

The conundrum was: Hickey & Premium forward (Likely LeCras) vs Cox & Lachie Hunter - was like 10k short of Higgins unfortunately.

Went with the latter, time wil tell if it was the right decision.

Just quickly remember Hickey was rucking against no one where as H Mac was against Sauce who is a pretty good ruck.

So Cox went 108 and Hunter an unexpected 103 so they combined for a nice 211. Only problem was Lecca went crazy with 139 and Hickey a solid 85 to combine for 224. :P

Still happy with the Hunter pick and think that combo will be better in the long run.
