yeah i thought he would have to warm into the season which is why i overlooked him, very very rare that a player comes back from that much time out of the game and hits the ground running

Like Pav, a couple straight(er) kicks early on and his impact on the game may have been on the significant side.  At worst he and another mid-pricer are the corrective trades to a rookie and loaded gun.

petefisker

Traded him a few hours before the game to Macrea.

anyone who had him and gets rid of him if he doesnt perform this week is an imbecile, irrespective of whether it works out or not. what were you expecting from him?

130+ each week, with at least 2 scores of 180+  :P

this is exactly how i felt from some of the people on here and their unrealistic player scores.
every "premo" mid MUST be 125+ if not they aren't wort it
Every mid to premo DEF has to be 100+ or their not worth it
every fwd has to be 110+

every rookie is 100+ or they're not worth being a cash cow.

Exactly. He'll be better for the run and has another 2 weeks to build further on his fitness

I don't think it's a matter of being unrealistic, let's call it "informed" ruthlessness.  If, for whatever reason, Daisy doesn't like the heat, he's gotta get out of the kitchen.

fever

if it's so "informed", then why did you pick him at all?

2 games means nothing as a sample size

The_Captain

was on 42 at half time.. So not too bad. He will just need to build the tank a bit. Still think he will average 85-90.

I ended up being very nervous about both Daisy & Suckling in my side so I ditched them both. With so many mid rookies around I felt carrying injury prone mid pricers was a massive gamble. On first inspection I would say my hunch was correct, ankle injuries affect kicking and that was on show against Port. It was shank after shank from Thomas, and it also concerned me that Malthouse will be playing him predominantly as a forward, at least in the early stages.

Why panic after 1 game? there are still 5 more games of destruction to come this round.

Daisy is cheap enough that he is not going to lose you any money either. Not worth wasting a trade on to be honest.
