he is playing pretty poor clurey if i trade him would it be a waste of a trade

MC

Again, this is one game. Could be worse, ie: if he was the sub and played only half a qtr or something... After 2 games, reassess and bring in appropriate money makers.

Vinny

At this stage yes, just wait and see if his named next week and decide.

RaisyDaisy

His not really playing poorly, his role is just not SC friendly

Ricochet

If you are going to do any fix up trades for rookies, wait until after Round 2 and get the rookies with the best JS and lowest BE

HotTiges

Looks like you shouldn't start him but handy back up if needed

Southstorm

Right now I'm tempted to downtrade McVeigh so I can grab Laidler for Clurey. If this is the best Clurey has, if it means he isn't named next week, could be worth getting on somebody who is guaranteed to make money.

Just wait until after rd2. Cant be so reactive

Hopefully keeps his spot in the side otherwise I smell a trade

BoredSaint

ill probably wait a week but then risk having to do other trades. still got 50k in the bank to do the trade up to laidler

frogjumper

Clurey did alright and Impey was good.

Impey I think has kept his spot for the next match. Cluery didn't do anything bad to lose his spot, but he would be the likely player to be dropped if a more established player comes back in.

Can't believe so many picked him :o I had every other back rookie over him in terms of scoring ability, even Cameron, and he has questionable JS to go with it. What were people thinking!

shaker

Trading out good players because of one bad game is silly but if he is not named next game I will get rid of him for the best back rookie of the round

Yeah good call.. Everyone does corrective rookie trades in the lead up to rd3
