This is interesting that Channel 7 will now have NFL rights as well.

"Seven will broadcast three consecutive games live on Sunday, concluding with NFL Sunday Night Football on 7mate on Monday. Seven will also broadcast the NFL Playoffs live and marquee NFL games such as the traditional Kick-off game and Thanksgiving NFL matches."

It sucks that they got it, but at least they will show Hard Knocks. I am assuming Fox retained the rights to the other games and it will be interesting to see if they screen Thursday Night Football. In the end I don't care as I will get Game Pass again. That means I don't have to watch them screw up a live feed.

One good thing about this though is that the sport is growing here (although obviously bandwagoners will rise too). Maybe we'll get a game one day, and I'll be forking out to go to the obvious Sydney/Melbourne to watch it.

The rise of bandwagon Broncos fans is about to occur :-X

Raiders seems to be the bandwagon team of choice here because all the swagfag places market only their snapbacks and shower.

Good luck to them bandwagonning to that shower team.

They have a pro bowl MVP quarterback :3

I would laugh at anyone bandwagoning the Raiders

Only problem with a game is it would have to be pre-season, the NFL already sells off to London and the players complain about that, considering the distance via plane, they would only do something like the weekend of the HOF game.

Jukes

Don't think they really watch any games or know any rules, just because it's the cool team to support or something.

The MLB did alright here, Goodell might find some inspiration.

Baseball also has 80 odd games in a year and is non contact. The fact they only have 16 and are already playing across the pond a couple times a year and up North in Canada means less home revenue. Add in the recovery time for guys getting smashed and having to jump on an 18 hour flight, exhibition games are the only way it can logistically happen.

It is like if we decided to send over an AFL game. While good for exposure, we are better off doing it in the pre-season first of all for terms of lost revenue, second to test out reaction and then you also want to give guys as much time as possible to recover.

I haven't followed the NFL for a few years, what's so bad about this?

iirc the coverage on ESPN (if they still have it) isn't so great, 7 should make it easier for people like me and new fans to get into the sport. One HD was good a few years ago.

One HD did a good job of it last year. No problem with it moving to 7, get a bit more exposure.

Skins maybe having to change their name is flowering stupid. Native Americans don't give a flower it's just the left-wing retards in DC.

Soon enough the Patriots and Yankees will be forced to change as they're anti-foreigners and Packers because it could be implied that they're fudge-packers and that's homophobic.

I found the pic I was looking for

So as long as Jerruh, Garrett and this guy are still major parts of the Cowboys organisation I think Philly will be alright
