The best thing that could have happened for the Pats was Thomas getting injured. Apparently Sherman also injured his hand so that is the two most important members of that secondary that will either miss or play injured.

Game isn't for another two weeks, gotta presume they'll be fine.

Btw, can we finally put to rest the Brady vs Peyton debate? This post-season, Brady is on his way to his 6th SuperBowl while Peyton had his 9th career 'one and done'. Both greats, but Brady has passed him.

Jukes

Brady isn't better than Peyton, nor anywhere near Montana, Young, Marino, Tebow, Elway, Johnny U, Favre...

Always has had a very good running game, defense and kicker, and only has 2 MVPs compared to Peyt's 5.

Also, spygate.

I don't think you recover from a dislocated shoulder in 2 weeks. If Thomas plays he will clearly be hindered by it. Sherman might be alright with the elbow, as long as there isn't a crack it will be fine.

Also Peyton is the greatest regular season QB ever and it is not even close. Playoffs are a different story but if you go on regular season play Peyton ishes on everyone

Not debating that. He's definitely the best regular season QB ever.

Post-season play often prompts overreactions but I think we've seen enough to suggest that Peyton isn't as good in that area as the other greats are.

The Pats have been accused of everything over the years. Not sure if it's part jealousy cos they keep on winning but it's starting to get old.. :-X

could have switched the balls out for soccer balls and the pats still would have won that game
