I just saw this article

http://www.bleedinggreennation.com/2015/1/4/7491493/cowboys-lions-final-score-detroit-dallas-playoffs-24-20

Wow, just wow, I can see why my mate texted me now

How does that happen in a playoff game?

You can probably live with the missed holds, they happen every game, but stuff like this and the Witten false start are just horrible. It will be fair to say these guys aren't officiating another playoff game

Im confused was it the one play out of 67 that cost the lions or the video that happened in august of 2014?

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/01/05/blandino-cowboys-party-bus-incident-has-no-bearing-on-calls/

flip the shots around the otherside n u will see pettigrew is holding hitchens facemask before there could be pass interference

now i no ur an avid enuf nfl buff, uve seen this angle but arent interested in it bcos u have an agenda :-X

If the NFL wanted Dallas to win why lift Suh's suspension? ::)

Detroit blew it, that's all.

Haven't seen that angle since I didn't see the game which I mentioned earlier. The article I posted and linked the above images from is the only one I have seen. Best case scenario you have a hold and PI call on Hitchens, face mask on Pettigrew which would offset but then you have Dez running onto the field yelling at a ref without a helmet, that should have been a 15 yard penalty since it was after the play. The only person that would defend how poorly officiated that play was is a Cowboys fan, you can't pick up the flag on something so blatant and also not flag Dez for this

You also had Pereira tweet about it in the game and then they had this video from Fox

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tdAKk42OzVw

You also had Jim Daopoulos call it the flat out wrong call

It didn't cost the Lions the game since they choked, it looks like Dallas had a bit of help from the refs, but Detroit choked. How something like this could happen in a playoff game is pretty bad. The two most glaring calls they showed in the article were this one and the Witten false start. The line holds I can understand as I said because there is holding on almost every play between linemen

This one is difficult to make a call from a still so you also give them the benfit of the doubt on this one

You need a gif to see if Megatron initiates the contact or if it is on the DB

Also the Blandino thing is completely different, that is the NFL being pissed with him because the VP of officiating should not be going around on teams party buses. It doesn't matter if it happened in August or right after the game. It has nothing to do with how the game was officiated but is a story in it's own right. I wouldn't be surprised if he is demoted or fined. With how poor a year the NFL is having with the Ray Rice/AP situations, Goodell denying he saw the video etc then to have a VP going around on a party bus, he will be a scapegoat

Bad calls occur in all games, they r made from an unbiased point of view.
31 teams this year could make a case the way u do about poor calls losing us this or that.
I just look straight passed umpiring, officiating, its just sports, the best team on the day wins every time.
Can u name the last season where every playoff game was officiated correctly? it does not happen.
In my opinion it is as much a part of the game as the players.

I still think the no.1 seed should get to choose who they play in the divisional round. The flowering Broncos get the 2 seed and still get to play the easier opponent.

Either that, or scrap the divisions so the playoff seeds actually reflects wins!

I was just doing the survey for the XBOX reward program, all the questions were about fitness on the XBOX which I had no interest in. I did learn something though, apparently they have Russell Wilson, Paul George and this guy do workout plans

So PFF has released their top graded players for 2014...

Defensive player of the year is ridiculous. Houston runner-up with a +51.1 grade...JJ Watt winning with a +107.5 grade, meaning he was over twice as good as the next best player on D.

Watt won overall player of the year ofc, ahead of Rodgers, Houston, Harris Jr and Yanda.

I have all the favs this weekend.

I don't think the Pats will have an easy time with the Ravens so I have them by about a FG.

Seahawks to win comfortably over Cam and the Panthers. I am thinking over 10 points.

Broncos won't have an easy one with the Colts who tend to match up well with them. The Colts would have gone pass happy regardless due to the Broncos good rush D, I think the Broncos will win by around 1 score at the end.

Pack to dismantle the Cowgirls D. Cowboys will probably score around 24 points, I think the Pack will probably score mid-high 30's.
