DVOA? In the second half of a season? Stop finding obscure stats to prove an inexistent point. QBR and T-QBR are the only stats that matter beyond the simple numbers.

Peyton, Brees, Godgers, Luck, Ryan, BEWD, Stafford and Rivers are all definably better players than Brady at this point. That's 8. Then there's a big group of good qbs in Wilson, Kaep, Dalton, Romo, Flacco, Big Ben and Brady which is pretty close.
tl;dr he'd be lucky to be considered top 10.

Agreed

Manning, Brees, ARod, Wilson, Rivers and maybe Stafford, Luck, Dalton and Foles are all going to have better years then Brady this season.

QBR can mean nothing in the grand scheme of things, it can be a handy stat to look at, but I take it with a grain of salt sometimes. If a QB dumps a ball of on a screen pass to a RB who manages to break 4 tackles and take it 80 yards to the house, the QB gets the credit for the 80 yard TD and sees his QBR fly through the roof even though he really did nothing on the play.

Harvin looked like a beast as well. The Hawks WR's are terrible, but Harvin makes them look so much better.

Do you know what DVOA is? Probably the best stat there is when measuring performances of players or teams. All the analysts use it. As mat points out, QBR is a very flawed stat.

My point is that Brady struggled early, with no Gronk. But in the second half of the season he was still a top 5 QB. If you don't know DVOA then do some research bro.

I think you guys presume that Brady had Peyton and Foles' receiving core... He doesn't and we still went 12-4 with a below average defense.

He's going to have an elite season if Gronk stays healthy.

Brady also had one of the easiest runs in the league last year.

Bills, Dolphins and Jets twice (and lost once each to the Dolphins and Jets)
Bucs, Falcons, Steelers, Texans, Browns and a struggling Ravens team.

They got the Broncos and Saints at home, the Saints struggled to win outside the Dome and lost to the only two decent teams they played in the Panthers and Bengals

One of the Jets losses was bs though. And they have an elite pass rush so their not an easy team for a QB.

Saints game Brady throws the last-second TD btw. The amount of comebacks he made was amazing. Smashed the Colts in the playoffs and weren't that bad against Denver considering Talib went down early. And now we have a top 5 corner in Revis.

So much Brady hate lol. At the end of the day he keeps winning and this years Pats team should be the best in years

Mat0369

Crappy teams the Pats play this year

Jets x 2
Dolphins x 2
Bills x 2
Vikes
Raiders
Lions (7-9 last year)
Bears (8-8 last year)

They get 2 of the best 3 teams they play at home in the Bengals and Broncos

The Chargers, Packers, Chiefs and Colts are the other teams they play. The Chargers and Chiefs could very well revert back to mediocrity, so another easy run for the Pats to the playoffs again only to lose when it counts

Jukes

Lions and bears aren't crappy, one of them will make the playoffs (and if the packers keep playing like they did today, maybe both).

Chargers are gonna be good this year, I have them making the divisional round and somebody else I know+trust has them losing to the colts in the AFCCG. Chiefs stink doe.

Mat0369

They both are pretty average teams. While the Lions have Megatron, Stafford and some pieces on D they are a really overrated. Their collapse at the end of last season was hilarious. The Bears D is also horrible, they have good skill players on offense but Cutler is inconsistent as flower which screws them. They were contemplating keeping Josh F'ing McCown ahead of him

Chargers are still meh, they have to be one of the most inconsistent teams in the league. They finished hot but lost to some horrible teams last year including the Texans, Titans, Raiders, Dolphins and Skins.

#219
If the lions offense performs to their potential, which I believe they will this season, they're a playoff team- especially with solid players like Suh, Ansah, Fairley and Van Noy on defence. Stafford is a yard-accumulating machine, Megatron the #1 receiver, Ebron a very promising young TE, Tate is pretty good, and Bush is good enough to not be any sort of liability on the run.

I hate the bears, especially their loud-mouth fans, but they have a good offense (Cutler, Forte, Marshall, Jeffrey, Bennett, Holmes) and have added a couple good players on D in Allen and Fuller, adding to Tillman and Briggs.

Chargers have the GOAT Rivers :3

Also, just imagine building a defence from the two teams playing in Houston on Sunday- Watt, Clowney, Orakpo, Cushing, and Kerrigan would be insane.

Grazz

Hard Knocks parts 1 and 2 on tonight on 7 mate.

Chilling watching NFL Network while waiting for the games to start.

Mat0369

So I just heard that the Raiders have lost their last 13 games in the 1 pm slot and the last time they won during that slot was 2009

Jukes

About 30 teams today going to realise the huge mistake they made not signing Tebow
