Since we already have eagles+cowboys fans and jay is a redskins sympathiser, might be time to pick a side in the NFC East battle...

On the down side, Lane Johnson might get suspended for the first 4 games for PED use.

NFC East is one of the best divisions to watch, everyone hates everyone and it shows in the games

#129
NFC East definitely my second favourite division, giants and eagles two of my probably 5 favourite teams w/ niners, texans and packers.

NFC South right up there too, Kuechly vs Brees+Graham vs Matty Ice vs Mikey Evans

tl;dr NFC >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> AFC

And Eli 2 Eagles 0 Cowboys 0 Redskins 0 since 2000

Good old Sheli Manning

While they have a guy who will likely throw another 20 INT's this year, Philly have

i love the belief u Philly fans have in Foles :D

Mat0369

It helps when you have Shady as well  ;)

Foles showed some really good signs in his first season, while his numbers were not spectacular, but watching him play you could see you had something to work with. This is why many Eagles fans wanted Vick gone last year, so they could expose Foles to as much playing time as possible. He had the tools, but you just wanted to see it on a consistent basis and being a young team it was a chance for him to grow into the role. Unfortunately Mike Pick won out in camp and did what he does best in turnover the ball and get injured. Once Foles was inserted into the starting lineup he looked good. You take away the Dallas game which appears to be an aberration and see that he threw 27 TD's and 2 INT's in his second season of football, first where you can argue he is the starter. He makes good decisions which leads to a low INT total and goes through his progressions. He does hold onto the ball a bit too long and since he won't force throws that aren't there so he takes hits/sacks, some of them costly knocking the Eagles out of FG range a few times. One of the reasons he can hold onto the ball for a lot longer is the stellar play of the O-Line which is arguably the best in football. If he learns throws the ball away instead of taking a sack while continuing to make the throws he was making last year, we have a potential superstar QB.

I am actually curious to see how the team functions this season. They apparently only ran a small amount of Chip's playbook last season due to it being so complex and they were unable to run through all of it in one preseason. You also have the loss of DJax which is huge. He commanded a high safety which in turn opened up running lanes for Shady and one on one coverage for Cooper. Ertz will feature more prominently this season as a reciever, Maclin is back which should help fill the void left by DeSean, he is not the same caliber in terms of a down field threat but he does have some speed, runs good routes and goes over the middle. They traded Bryce Brown who had some serious potential (fumbling held him back) but have added Sproles which will be interesting. They might use more 2 RB sets and flank Sproles/Shady out wide. Losing Johnson the first 4 weeks will hurt as well, he was starting to come into his own at the end of last season.

Sproles is a ripper addition, particularly with that high octane offense...
