could belicheat n brady be kept out of the HOF?

seems to be what Charles Hayley is insinuating here
Laughable.
a HOF'r with 5 rings is laughable, what is Tom Brady then :D

the selectors r media, its not beyond the realms of possibility for opinions to be swayed in time

He hasn't even got his facts straight. Belichick admitted to Spygate being on him and Deflategate hasn't even been proven. Brady is as clean as you can get.

Being it's an opinion driven process to get in the HOF, do you think one or both could miss like so many baseballers have?

Bill maybe but Brady is a first ballot.

i'd personally be fine with that so long as he's not implicated in Deflategate once the investigation is completed ... but as Marcz wrote Goodall/Goodsell (whatever his name is  ;)) seems to be a 'pick & choose' (ie weak) administrator so even if something is found, how severe are any penalties likely to be??  ;)

No. Both have dominated their fields for the better part of two decades. It's a travesty if either miss.

so did Barry Bonds n that was never proven

all those writers deemed his punishment was not severe enough and the majority act like he never existed around induction season, im just posing the possibility that by the time both of their careers r done more will have leaked out, more will be known or not known, however the writers in baseball seem to treat mystery as guilty.
Its the first time i had considered the same thing could occur in the NFL, not making a case for or against, just bringing the 'possibility' to light, imo Barry Bonds and all the alleged steroid guys should be in the HOF, with an asterisk and side story explaining the *

Jukes

I'll just say this- Bonds and Pete Rose are more deserving HoFers than Brady and Belichick.

But that doesn't mean neither of the latter should get in.

Thomas out 6-8 months after shoulder surgery. I wonder when Kam goes in for surgery to make it 3 of 4 and then Maxwell walks in FA meaning they are screwed next year

hawks/pats fans in a nutshell

Jay

HAHAHA so Jerry Rice, the same idiot who said the Pats SuperBowl should come with an asterisk, has admitted to using sticky substances on his gloves throughout his playing career.

Talk about hypocrisy. So should the Niners SuperBowl's have an asterisk too? Because that's 100 times worse than deflating 1 freaking ball.
