I had Sandi as my vice but think that Franklin could go 150 today with the new club looking for him trying to show that they made the right choice spending so much money on Buddy and they wont lose so he will go off but am I thinking irrationally and will he be worth the captaincy

Yeah risk vs reward.

If he fails and goes 70 or something you are losing out on stacks more if he goes 150 and Gaz goes say 135.

No need to work outside of the box in Round 1!

Nothing stupid or risky needs to be done early as its more than likely just going to put you back rather than ahead. Going for risks like this should come later in the season when your ranking/spot in the 8 are on the line, or maybe you have a chance of having a great ranking so looking for the edge in order to potentially climb some more.

It might be the hawthorn supporter in me but I can't believe anyone has picked him. He is one of the most frustrating SC players ever. One week he pumps out 150, the next week he has a 60 odd like he did against GWS. Then there is the added factor of him getting reported for a high bump and that knee bursae flaring up. I could end up eating my words he might suddenly tackle instead of dropping the shoulder (good bump on Cousins that time haha) and that knee might not give him any trouble this season but I reckon he will disappoint super coacher's this season.

105 average is good but when it's only over 16, 17, 18 or 19 games I'd take a 100 average over 22 games every day of the week
