Looks like there's going to be some massive scores after Round 1.

I'm currently 9/1369 (captain has played) which on paper sounds good, but can't help but feel it's pretty average given that 90% of people (especially on here) will be +/- 70 points.

What do you think will win it this round? 2700+?

It will come down to POD's and I think most of those are going to come into contention next week.

That's a pretty big score from what I've seen. Who have you got left to play? I'm 8/1001 but I've got quite a few big names to come.

Rohan & McDonough didnt ton up but didnt expect them too anyway

5 of my mids have played for 140, 136, 127, 122, 107. Hopefully the other 3 can follow suit!

Some fairly big scores coming through, impressed!
I'm 1206/10 captain played. 2 lowest mveigh and rohan.
Considering the shizenhousin delivered from daisy, boak, dixon, martin, clurey, franklin etc (don't have any of 'em)
I'm happy with 1206/10 thus far. 8)

7/895
Good way to start.

Good - GAJ (C), Beams, Swallow, Sandi, Polec
Bad - Walters, Broadbent.

Disappointed with Broadbent starting as sub, but I see a lot of upsides.
Walters will get better and Broadbent did score 45 in ONLY a qtr of play.

You've made a typo yeah? 1369 from 9 sounds impossible to me. If you had GAJ as captain leaves you with 1089 meaning your 8 remaining players have averaged 136! Nahhhhhhhh.....nah no way

Hmm...sounds a bit suspicious to me.  Based on my calculations, the maximum possible score so far for 9 players (assuming GAJ as captain) is 1394 - being Treloar 154; Wines 145; Prestia 144; Ablett 280; Beams 136; Deledio; 136; Swallow 135; Barlow 132; Mumford 132.  Given most seasoned SCers would have played Sandi 127 and a couple of rookies by now, I personally find a score of 1369/9+c highly implausible....although happy to be proved wrong.
