<<<< another fool with Langdon's o so beautiful 111 sitting on the pine...question is now which 2 of Langford,Georgiou or McDonald to field hmmmm decisions decisions.

Now i am worried about Dunstan and Crouch on the bench  :o

Ricochet

Not worth chasing his score. You don't want someone like KK sitting on your bench all year if he doesn't break into the side

Having him on field would have been the best option but the dilemma of having him on the bench as an emergency it seems far less stressful not having him at all and rather wait to see if he holds his spot when Seedsman returns and burn a trade if I have a non playing rookie.

Last minute took him off the field and is now emergency. Will not go after his score.

My suggestion if you do want it though, pick Hubbard if he doesn't play.

If Hibberd misses just 1 I may well do that, had him in my side until he got injured

Is it worth it? Because i assume Mitchell/Simpson is locked in every team and the other D i'd dropped would be McVeigh... McVeigh could easily score that so you might end up loosing points. It needs to be a rookie if you were to do it. K.K looks alright but is a bit expensive.

I really don't think so, a unsubbed rookie I expect to go about 70.  Don't stuff your setup or a trade for 40 points, that's nothing over a season

The only thing to take from this is I went 2 starting back rookies, this strategy looks validated at this early stage, so downgrade to this back setup might be a goof move. But don't try and get his score on the field.

Saying that it could be a one off, its game 1 of the season it's a marathon not a Sprint. Also if you have a 125+ VC score take it.

Hey H

How can you of all people say 40 points is nothing over a whole season?

If I knew where to look I would check how many points separated first and THIRD in 2013.

232 points separated Dimmawits and Holzman

Wow. Holz was soooo bad last year then!  :P

Another option to utilise langdons score is have a floating donut in the back line & pick a playing rookie ruck.
Ideal situation would be picking fuller in def as a temp floating donut then he debuts in round 6ish and a rookie ruck I.e. Thurlow maxes out in price on your ruck bench at the same time.

MalteserMan

Really surprised that more people didn't have him on the ground.

As soon as I saw he wasn't sub, whacked him on the field.

Cant believe people are thinking about picking KK, Fuller etc to get Langdons score  :o

I've had Hibberd locked all season, so I wont mind if he misses rd1 now  :)

EDIT - His breakeven of 22 is going to make Langdon a juicy cow now too :)

Unfortunately, because its round 1 his score will only be involved in 1 price rise... :( I'm considering going McVeigh to Hibberd and Franklin to Roughy. Had Hibberd up until his injury and then was forced to downgrade Roughy to be able to get McVeigh (Not confident in any other guys) so now that i have Langdon's back up 113 if he doesn't get up, i think its worth starting him. Recent news on him is that he is in contention for round 1.

RaisyDaisy

Yeah I expect Hibberd to play - but I have another idea about getting Langdon's score (Check out the thread Doc started to see my idea)

BoredSaint

guys its only 1 score.. at least if you have him he will continue to make money for you

Jimmykidd

had him at d6 and took him out last minute! why? who knows! may have to burn a trade to get him if georgio lets me down. wait and see his next score though.

ubeaut

Stupid Stupid me should have fielded him!

SydneyRox

Top work Tom!

Nice score! but even better, thanks for putting your JS in no doubt!
