Rhys Shaw?

Scores last year of 81, 33, 41, 85, 87, 6 (All scores less then 80 were sub effected, by injury which is concerning for a 32 year old) - which made his overall average 51, which brings his price to $254,000. Also is stated to start on the wing, I know that means nothing, otherwise Dane Swan will be playing mostly forward pocket this weekend which is not going to happen.

Anyone else considering? With not many rookie defenders putting their hands up besides the obvious ones, has anyone else thought once or twice about him? I know he aint going to be a keeper, but if he can value can rise whilst putting out 75-80+ (hopefully), which will help me when some early valuable games in a cash league!?

Whats everyone's opinions and thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

For round 1 definitely. But now Langdon and Langford and even laidler look like getting games it seems like we have some options hence no need for shaw.

I dunno, if he keeps being named there... then he might get DPP FWD/MID next year
no bigger lock in DT history if he does!

I did think about him briefly for round 1 but I think he is now too injury prone, and his best is past him so he's no guarantee to score well.
