Alex Johnson. When is he back? Can Laidler keep his spot?

Doesn't mean he's not injured.

all about winning

Laidler is safe, the next Marty Mattner..  running of the half back with a trusty left foot

Just back from a knee recon. Will look to string some games together in the NEAFL before he is even considered. IMO Rampe is keeping his seat warm.

Rampe is a pretty good player...

cortez

Laidler is a pretty good player to I think People forget, back at Carlton before Malthouse came Fatten considered him one of if not there mist important player.

This is very true. But will Laidler hold his spot (obviously he would have to play well)? Are u picking him Cortez?

RaisyDaisy

If you pick Laidler you need to do so believing he has good JS for his price, because he is going to score similar to the cheaper rookies (50-70)

Now that Cameron, Clurey and Langdon have all been named on field, and Langford and Georgiou should get named next week too, as well as McDonald, I just don't think he needs to be picked

Not a bad pick, just think your better off saving the 40k because his output and JS is the same as those cheaper guys

Mailman the 2nd

Alex Johnson may be anywhere between 2-7 or 8 weeks away and Laidler is almost 100% the one to go.

Make the inclusions of Goodes and Ryan O'Keefe over the next 5 weeks (yes even though they play different roles) you need to be pretty confident on Laidler playing early

RaisyDaisy

LRT and Rampe on the bench too, both players who can take his spot

Mailman the 2nd

Of course I think he can potentially keep his spot for a worthwhile amount of time, but only if he can adapt to the swans gamestyle very quickly
