Who and WHY you would pick guys..

Maggie May

That is a difficult question and one I have been asking myself.  I think both Parker and Mitchell should provide more consistency given they are both midfielder/forwards and Mitchell has been a bit of an SC machine.  But they are unproven, Mitchell especially who is a second year player (not sure about Parker).

Franklin has been at the Elite level before, but there would have to be questions about how the new team and ground effects his game and I have read he may have a niggle in the quad.  Even at his best as a KPF he does provide inconsistency.  If Mitchell & Franklin were to end up with the same average for example, you would find that Mitchell's range in scores would be smaller than Franklin's and his floor score will be higher.

Buddy's the proven scorer.
Parker's ripe to breakout this year.
Mitchell is a gun who'll play mid.. but second year players worry me.

All could (should?) improve on last years averages. All are a gamble.

Mitchell isn't a second year player, he was a first round father son pick in 2011. It's his third year and third preseason, only missed out on a debut in 2012 due to injury.

I've had him since the start, got worried out of him by these forums. Now that he's named on the ball my initial thoughts have been confirmed he is back in and staying in...  :)

I'm edging towards Parker I think.. should lift his consistency and kicks goals when FWD. My only concern is if I pick him, is he going to be a keeper.. what he will end up avging sort of irks me a bit

If he can move his average up 10ppg, I would think that's worthy of a permanent spot in your (my) team.

Based of 2013 results any average north of 92 puts him in the Top10. At worst (or with luck) that wouldn't be bad cover for M8/F6  :-\

Oops my bad. Still only has half a year of games under his belt though :/

I had Franklin all preseason but now starting to doubt his input. Yes it was only the NAB Cup but it looked like he was feeling the pressure and think the small SCG ground and along with Goodes, Reid and Tippett all in that Forward line he may struggle a bit for consistency.

Im leaning towards parker now, averaged 87 last year and with Jude gone and ROK out should get more midfield time and lift his average to over 100

Same could be said about Mitchell...... Mitchell is the one named in the midfield, maybe we're all reding it wrong and Parker will be the half fwd and Mitchell is being groomed to take over the ROK role in the middle

Named in a certain position in the paper doesn't mean a lot anymore. Both could rotate with each other? All I know is both will avoid the vest..
