Based on this I am pretty sure I will put Langdon at M10 (He can switch with McDonald if need be)

I'm am not touching Laidler because I cant see him lasting long, and I am going to pass on Clurey too because I think he will be in and out, unless he crushes

Suckers D4, McDonald D5 and for now I will keep Langford at D6 and I am selecting Cameron at D7, with Georgiou at D9. If Georgiou or Langford miss I will get Webster

I'm backing in Cameron - I doubt he will score well but from the articles I have read over the preseason I am going to plunk him on the bench as I think he will hang around for a while
WOW putting a back rookie in the mids is a huge call. There have been heaps of rookies named but who has great JS? Surely the better JS of these go in the backs? Which mid rookie do u now miss out on? Michie? Polec? Tyson? Don't get me wrong I like the idea but who misses out? What if Georgiou AND Langford miss?

Thought the Swans would have given one of there ruck rookies a game , starting to look a bit shaky in the cheap rookie ruck department  :'(

I've seen no articles on Cameron this pre-season - how did I miss him??  :o   ;)

Danzac

I love how Sydney trolled everyone by not naming a rookie ruck

Bravo  ;D

Running 5 premo mids, giving Tyson and Aish a miss at this stage. Just don't see the need to have an expensive rookie at M10 because the chances of me actually needing to field them is small

I read one or two articles on afl.com.au that bobbed up over the past couple of months

There is every chance he gets dropped, and I am still not 100% on which way I will be going

Might end up putting Langdon on the def bench

ROK as emergency is spinning me out

I am thinking the same thing. Has he been carrying an injury through the pre-season?

Tom Mitchell named on ball..  ugh, don't do this to me.

he was in my team already but very interesting

Keep in mind that where players are named on the team sheet has no bearing on where they will actually play

frenzy

have I said how much I hate split rounds?, especially the opening round! .....geepers

Jon Giles named at full back, Swanny in the forward pocket. I don't believe you.  :P

Biggest surprise from the selection committees this week - Mick Malthouse wins for selecting Mitch Robinson at R1.

I heard he was flying only 2 weeks ago. Surely they wouldn't even bother naming him as emergency if he was carrying something

Is it a rolling lookout. So we can trade players next week to players who are yet to play  games?

Only if ur trading players who also are yet to play. Ones that play are locked.

OK, so I am going with Langford at D6, convinced he will get picked, and if he doesn't then Georgiou is my back up plan, or Webster if forced to

Now, do I bench Clurey and Langdon, and go with Crouch at M10, or do I bench Clurey and Cameron, and go with Langdon at M10?
