Adelaide team looks quite impressive.... :o

Being a bit generous there T dog. Think Geelong will take care of that side easily. Porps on the ball wow... thats bad. Sam as Smith on the wing.. Kerridge at half back. Bench is real weak. They have 8 of their best 22 out. They will suffer for this. Jpod days are over now. Lynch and Walker fit he is a goner. He is woeful now!

Mr Craig has already established the Round 1 team thread so I will be merging this thread with that one.  Bear in mind though it is m0nty's site and he set up the Match Day boards for discussion on teams, subs and actual match day discussions.

Weren't Matchday Threads were created to discuss the game itself, where as this was posted to discuss the Players selected. So instead of multiple threads like "Player X has/hasn't been picked" we have one thread to discuss options that directly relate to SC, AF, DT (whichever board it is in). Happy to be wrong though and it merged but it is the Players and Trades thread after all.

Thats pretty much what the matchday board was created for,  to discuss everything related to that match ie players selected, players not selected, subs etc etc. Not just the game on the day.

Pretty sure m0nty cares otherwise why would he put in the effort of creating them. Now we have have to go to two different
threads to make certain we havent missed something relevant to the game. Only benefit i see from this is thread and topic totals.

I understand that Grazz and understand the reason for the matchday threads but posting in the P&T section stops more topics being posted. Already in this thread there were two questions asked and answered, in the SC thread there were more. And this was just for the one game. In future when there isn't a split round people will start one thread for all team announcements for that round and many more questions about players will be asked within that thread. It will mean less single threads being posted about players being selected or not.

Yeah, I think the point of me starting up the Team Announcement threads last year was to cut down on all the "Oh no, Player X isn't selected!!!" threads that tended to flood the board each week.
