what are the main reasons people are basing swallow's improvement on? i have him in atm but i think i;ve been caught up in the hype. obv he's a #1 pick and classy player, but why do we think he's ready to take the next step in SC scoring?

i think its because he played most of last year down back due to a niggling injury.
now he's fine and they are gonna set him loose in the mids.

i assume more mid time = more scoring.

do we know he's going into the mids? they're pretty good in there already and his run and delivery would be pretty handy staying on half back i assume

ablett, jager, prestia, rischitelli, bennel already there + other fringe players and maybe martin. i see no reason to put him in. imagine a swallow and mackensie half back line. man that up!

Take out his sub game and Hurn averaged about 95 last year, gotta be happy with that. Lock in Hurn buddy.

Hurn, but don't think Swallow is a bad choice...GC saying he will play mid, and of course he is ahead of guys like Martin.
You would want guys like Swallow/Grimes to average 95 to be worth it.

Have been choosing between these two myself and decided to go with swallow. more time in the mids sounds great, 4th year now so he should continue to up his performances, and if his brother is anything to go by he is going to go BANG this year. Apart from that, hurn gets tagged pretty much every week and can throw in some absolute stinkers!
