Will he be in everyone's team now that his BE is 94?????

Ziplock

David Swallow's BE isn't 94. I have no idea what you're smoking.

Money

I think that is just for R1 and will change for R2 two, like last year everyones break evens were huge and then when the week came for price rises they all went back to normal

Not smoking anything..you made triple check def says 94

SydneyRox

reckon he is worth a lock in def.

Mr.Craig

It's not 94, whatever they might be saying.

Mr.Craig

I figured out what had happened last night when I remembered that someone said Matt Crouch had a high BE as well.

The brothers have been mixed up -

Brad Crouch - BE 38
Matt Crouch - BE 92

Andrew Swallow - BE 70
David Swallow - BE 94

BE isn't relevant until the player's 3rd game though. Why is it even listed?

as for myself Swallow has been a lock for a while this season. Too cheap and has a midfield role. As long as he averages +78 I'm happy. He's either a stepping stone or a keeping in my opinion, hopefully the latter.

+1 very worried about the back rookies, so swallow @d4 and suckling @D5 just makes things look so much better

Pretty sure it's relevant for the player's 2nd game

Thought I read somewhere that this year in AF player prices change after their 2nd game?

prices change after their first game, it is just that this system isn't coming into effect until the end of round 2 (price rises at the end of round 2, even if that's their first game).

Mr.Craig

From DT Talk...

Q: How will the change in rules effect my team selection over the first couple of weeks?

A: There are two parts to this question:

Firstly, you will be able to make unlimited trades up until the North Melbourne V Essendon game. During the period prior to this game you will be able to trade/sub any players whose club is yet to take the field in season 2014. Once the North Melbourne V Essendon game has begun, normal lockout rules will be applied and no trades will be able to be made.

We understand the complexities that have been thrown up due to round one being a split round. As a result of this, for the first time this year you will be able to make unlimited trades until the first game of round 2. This will be a crucial week for your Fantasy season, as all price changes will commence after players have played two games.

I did see that and assumed it was an awful mistake. I can't find the original source saying that prices will change after one game but I know it has been mention on Tbetta's podcast and on DT talk podcasts previously. Tbetta was discussing how first gamers getting the vest could be advantageous to us as it would mean their price rise after that game wouldn't be significant and we could afford to decide on whether or not to get them after their first game/first price rise.

Mr.Craig

Guess we'll find out soon enough.
