To answer your question though, webster scored better than Shaw throughout the NAB and is 60k cheaper so why would you go shaw?

Don't think Webster will avg more than Shaw. I had Shaw orig but he out of my team atm. Think he is okish value

Because his ceiling is so low. He's only gone over 90 once in his career (season avg) and that was back in 2009. Since then his best has been 76. He definitely won't be a keeper, and even if he plays to his best he is only good for 75 max. Add to that he is 33, and his body hasn't been so crash hot, he's a massive NO for me.

Yeah I really don't understand where people think his scoring potential has appeared from

I think the question should be. Why is no one looking at Heath shaw

A lot more simple. Collingwood had enough guns to let Shaw play a free-running style rebounding from HB. At the Giants he will be under a fair bit more pressure to defend his man (+ help out the others..)
Also, new club - how will he react to the pressure of leadership role?

Shaw has been first picked defender for me for years, not this year though. Will consider him as an upgrade if he proves he can cop it up there.

Fair point.  Think I'm going to take a risk, rest of my side is fairly stock standard,
