Hi Guys, im fairly new to this forum. the last 3 years I've finished between 1100-3000 I would love to get inside top 1000!
Id appreciate any feedback and constructive criticism to finish off my team..

Def: McVeigh, Mitchell, Enright, Hurn, D Swallow, McDonald (Langford, Georgiou)
Mids: Ablett, Watson, Liberatore, Beams, Tyson, Mitchie, Ellis, Dunstan (Polec, Crouch)
Ruck: Naitanui, Sandilands (Derickx, Thurlow)
For: Dangerfield, Martin, Pavlich, Caddy, Higgins, B Kennedy (JKH, Impey)

$5,600 left

From what I can see,
1. I know Naitanui is a risk, I had Leui(and can swap back) but I feel if NicNat gets through this wknd could be a big POD
2. Martin or Roughly... undecided? Will Martin cop a hard tag? Roughy could dominate without Buddy
3. Tyson or Aish? with Melb not going to win many games, the points will be limited and with the likes of Vince, Cross, Jones, Trengrove, Toumpas can Tyson & Mitchie score as well as Aish & Mitchie?
4. Is my midfield too weak? I'm banking on the most pts from rookies in the Mids.. But will it effect overall pts too much?

Anything else you can see let me know, Thanks Heaps

Def - Swap Swallow for Suckling

Mids - SOLID. Tyson will be better then Aish. I don't think Brisbane will win too many more games then Melbourne this year. (big call)

Rucks - SWEET.

Fwds - SWEET. Roughy or Martin it doesn't matter. You will have to have both by years end.

Thanks for the feedback,

You don't think Swallow is a chance to run through the midfield and constantly score 90-95+ avg??
I just wasn't sure how good Sucklings scores are consistently going to be... even though his price is very tempting and everyone will have him!

If I made that trade it would pocket me an extra $100,000... can that be used elsewhere to improve another player?

Hurn to Simpson/Hanley??
Pavlich to Someone?? Roughy/Dixon??

Yeah I agree. I think midfield time for Swallow is a go. I just thought that extra 100k might be handy.

I like your two suggestions.

Maybe Pav to Roughy? Hurn to Hanley would be good too.

Or you could upgrade Nic Nat to Goldstein? or Big Will

AaronKirk

You would still have a very strong defense if you swapped Swallow for Suckling.

IMO you should start with Dusty over Roughy- Dusty in a SC friendly role across Half-Back and the unknowns over how Buddy leaving Hawthorn will affect Roughy.

Maybe with the extra $ you upgrade Crouch to Aish and have both Tyson and Aish.

Nic Nat to Leuey?

Solid team.

Done a few minor changes... what's your thoughts??

Original Set Up-
Def: McVeigh, Mitchell, Enright, Hurn, D Swallow, McDonald (Langford, Georgiou)
Mids: Ablett, Watson, Liberatore, Beams, Tyson, Mitchie, Ellis, Dunstan (Polec, Crouch)
Ruck: Naitanui, Sandilands (Derickx, Thurlow)
For: Dangerfield, Martin, Pavlich, Caddy, Higgins, B Kennedy (JKH, Impey)

$5,200 left

Option 2.
Def: McVeigh, Mitchell, Simpson, Enright, Suckling, McDonald (Langford, Georgiou)
Mids: Ablett, Watson, Liberatore, Beams, Tyson, Mitchie, Ellis, Dunstan (Polec, Crouch)
Ruck: McEvoy, Sandilands (Derickx, Thurlow)
For: Dangerfield, Martin, Roughhead, Caddy, Higgins, B Kennedy (JKH, Impey)

$300 left

Both strong and have 13 keepers but I would say team 2

reckon the selections of Simpson, Roughy and Suckling will outscore Hurn, Swallow and Pav

Elcapitano

Does anyone think there are better options to improve my team structure than... The averages I'm hoping they will get are
Watson? (avg.115)
Liberatore? (avg.110+)
McEvoy? (avg. 105)
All within the same price bracket..

I'm keen to get Naitanui or Leuenberger... just can't afford them with only $3,300

Any other changes needed for improvement??
