DT Gun

ROK didnt get picked for sydney did anyone notice that?
Obviously has a niggle or something.

But the thing i noticed was T Mitchell named on the ball...
He is in ripping form and I can only imagine what hes going to do to GWS if he is allowed to roam the park.

He had huge 50+ possies as a kid in the 2nds this kid can find the ball like no other kid.

Im predicting him to have a feast, but in saying that ill be VC Swan and if all else fails C GAJ

Other options are S Selwood and Cotchin i think

SydneyRox

Not brave enough to VC Tmitch, and I think Parker will outscore him..... :P

DT Gun

Word is from sydney that Horse said 'He is still an important player for us but couldnt get a game this week'.

Has TMitchell taken over his midfield role?

LaHug

That is very interesting, DT Gun! I'm thinking that Titch should get a lot of mid time but I still think he's probably going to score in the 85-90 range. That being said, there's every chance he proves me wrong!

Will hopefully get to those last few requests soon.

Only problem with the loophole is you have to pick a player who isn't playing. Which I think is stupid.

Can I request two of my favs i am thinking of VC...

JPK and Hanners?

Kennedy - Requested by SydneyRox
2013 avg: 90.95
Best 3 scores from 2013: 135 vs. Fremantle, 126 vs. St Kilda, 121 vs. Hawthorn
Last 3 against GWS: 107, 87, 117 (104 avg)
Last 3 at Showgrounds: N/A

I tend to say this every year but Kennedy is NOT a Dream Teamer. Great SC player but sub-premium in DT. Basically, GWS is his best team to play in his career and he still only averages 101.3 against them from four games. I'm not saying he's a bad footballer, because he's far from it. I'm also not saying he can't score big because those top three games from last year are solid (albeit not amazing) and he scored above 140 twice in 2012. However, the big scores are rare and the poorer scores are what you're likely to get. Only because it's against GWS do I think he could approach the ton this week. Prediction - 95

Hannebery - Requested by SydneyRox
2013 avg: 88.9
Best 3 scores from 2013: 136 vs. Adelaide, 131 vs. West Coast, 116 vs. Fremantle
Last 3 against GWS: 102, 78, 102 (94 avg)
Last 3 at Showgrounds: N/A

Hannebery most certainly has the talent to be a star in the AFL but he also has the talent to be a DT star. The problem is, most coaches recognise his talent and he is very subject to being tagged. GWS liked to tag a lot last year so there's a solid chance they'll do more of it this round. Some decent games against the Giants means Hannebery could approach that 100 mark but, even if he does, it probably won't be a big score. Prediction - 90

can we see McVeigh too, just bfor the Smitchell vs McVeigh comparison :P

McVeigh - Requested by pommyadam
2013 avg: 97.77
Best 3 scores from 2013: 168 vs. Carlton, 132 vs. GWS, 126 vs. Melbourne
Last 3 against GWS: 132, 77, 149 (119 avg)
Last 3 at Showgrounds: N/A

McVeigh has played GWS four times in his career for an average of 108. That's incredibly solid for someone with defender status this year BUT it's also incredibly mediocre considering two of those games have been a 132 and a huge 149. This is because the other two games were 77 and 73 points, respectively. The easiest factor to separate the two pairs is that the huge scores have come in games towards the end of the season and the two sub 80s have come in season openers. This is the season opener... I would be very concerned. Every chance he goes big and scores 120+ but just as likely, if not more likely, he's a bust. Prediction - 80

also, would like to see a vs opposition at stadium (so like Cornes' last 3 vs Carlton at Etihad) but that'd probably take FAR too long for something like this [and would only work if they've been round a while]

WAAAAAYYYY too much time and effort, sorry! This post already took me the better part of a day... The information is out there though if you want to go looking.

Seriously? So would you prefer 8 players on the bench go up lets say 40k after 3 rounds or would you prefer 7 players to go up 40k after 3 rounds?

I am so confused with what you are saying. You have unlimited trades between round 1 and round 2, however your score round 1 counts towards your overall score. To maximise points scored in round 1 it makes sense to have basement players on your bench (who may not be playing) for this round to maximise money on the field to try and maximise points. Yes this will risk not having an EMG in round 1 but that seems a small risk to me. At the end of round 1 you will then turn all these basement priced bench players into proper, playing rookies who will generate you cash like usual. Also you know that prices change after 1 game now not 3, right?

i was being a little ambitious there, but i'm happy with how it currently is
keep it up :)

Nige

Bit of a random, left field one (well, two) here.

Just wanna see Treloar and Heppell, my two main BXVs captain choices (even though it uses Sportal).  :P

Cheers Huggy!

i) Prices change after 2 rounds played this year
ii) I can get all those players who are going to increase in value into my team for Rd 2. They go up after playing 2 rounds regardless of if they've been on your bench for those two rounds.
