Too many Hawks?

So looks like Langford is firming for a Round 1 berth.

I already have SMitchell and Suckling. Is three Hawkers in the back line too many?

No guarantee Langford will still be in our teams by the byes anyway!

Wouldn't go any more Hawthorn premiums though (eg. Birchall or Hodge)

it's fine most will have the same and least it's a good team plus you wont have Langford all season

i imagine his JS is pretty awful though. is anyone out that will auto come back into the team when fit?

That's fine, you'll only use Langford as an emergency on the bench.

Simpson has same bye with them too, but Langford, and possibly even Suckling (low chance) would be out of your team come rd8 anyway

Langford looked great and has been in the system for a few years, but who is he keeping out of the team? Lake and Rioli to return, guys like Anderson and Duryea too.

Perhaps he takes Whitecross place until he returns and Suckers replaced Guerra?

As good as his looked, would hate for him to play first 2 games or so then get dropped and be stuck on my bench doing nothing

I didn't see any of the Hawks preseason games, what role was Langford used in? I kinda assumed Lake would boot him as soon as his suspension is done but no idea if Langford was actually playing the same role...

Langford ran with Ziebell kept him quite + kicked 3 goals..looking like a run-with midfielder

I've decided flower the byes and have 3 Hawks in my backline and 6 defenders with the round 9 bye. However if my rookies play I think I can still field 18 players  :o
