I am going with the slightly cut price Ruckmen Strategy - Obviously Sandilands is in there, but who else would you choose out of the following.

H. Mac - Probably the best option but is he ready to go? Is he worth $80,000 more than these other guys?
Hampson - No. 1 Ruck until Maric comes back - can he perform?
Hickey - No. 1 Ruck again but can he score?

Probably my final decision for now - going this cut price option leaves my team set up nicely for now.

Where is the none of the above option?
I wouldn't bother with these cheap picks they won't make enough money or score enough to be worth it
Also HMac is being managed though the season

You can get a really decent team with a more pricier ruck anyway

I've taken this risk and gone a Hickey, Sandilands ruck set up. Like you it's allowed me to set up the rest of my team nicely.

As a Carlton supporter I can not believe people are throwing around hampsons name he has never been fantasy relevant and never will be, at least hickey has room for improvement  or h mac returning from injury.

Ricochet

Go with HMac mate. I really like this strategy especially in AF.

From another blues supporter, Hampson seems to generally have 1 or 2 half decent games throughout the year and they are often in the early stages of the year but still shouldnt be considered in any forms of fantasy!

With options such as Big Boy, Jacobs, Mumford who are all No. 1 Ruckmen at their respective clubs as well as underpriced players why would you go even cheaper to players who aren't gonna make any money or score well?
